Six Flags vs. WDW - No Contest!

We just went to Great America- All the hotels were 89-92 plus taxes, Water & pop $3 & parking 12 or 14. Food was much more expensive.

I think the big thing is alot of kids with no supervision. Smoking in line, cussing like sailors, oh & making out in line-nice. Parents just drop them off. And taking on cell phones all i heard is how they hate their parents & who has the best fake ID.

But the Superman was out of this world. the weather was great.

There is something about Disney! I love Cedar Point and Six Flags isn't that bad. What I would love to see is a Disney "Thrill Park". I would love for Disney to build a new park or remodel an existing one (MGM villans park rumors) to rival Cedar Point.

I know tha many of you on this board travel to Universal during your Disney time. My husband and I did that.....ONCE! I know that I am 23 and he is 24 but we were appalled when we were told that one of the rides we wanted to do was limited to children under 12!!!!! I'm sorry, but isn't this why you travel to amusement parks??? To be a kid again? We no longer give our vacation time to anyone but Disney. You can't get any better than my Walt Disney World!

Anyway, we did IOA in 1/2 a day, so we just had to continue doing the same things again, and again, and again, and again....

I can be at Disney for 11 days and still not have done everything I wanted to. Can you get better than that? I say "YOU CANNOT"!

My son's best friend just moved near Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ. They were talking this weekend about how they are both learing about gang violence at school. I said - Great for a field trip you can go to Six Flags and experience it firshand! I told his Mom under no circumstances is he to ever be dropped off alone at that park!!
