SFOG is probably the nicest of the Six Flags Parks. Some areas of the park do have some nice theming. They have one of the greatest collection of coasters in the world. It has a certain charm if you go at the right time of the year. Is really nice in the fall.
BUT, so many of the employees just don't seem to give a rip. Granted, most are young kids working there for the summer. But still, I blame the management.
Compare the employees at Chick-fil-a to any other fast food restaurant. If you set high standards, you get quality people.
There is Whitewater water park not too far from SFOG. This used to be an incredible waterpark until Six Flags bought it. The employees there used to be top notch, as was the way the park was operated. Now, you've got the bubble gum smackin' 14 year old who just doesn't seem to give a rip. Slides are not opened until the crowds reach a certain limit instead of all opening at the same time....anything to save a penny. But it's still a very fun waterpark.
If you like history, go to the Cyclorama

Our kids really enjoyed this. It's located adjacent to the Zoo.
Also, another big thumbs up to Stone Mountain Park. We camped there for a week, and never ran out fun things to do.

World of Coke did not impress us that much...not worth the money (to us). One of my kids remarked "it's like we paid money to watch a coke commercial".
