We are starting our summer vacation my going to Six Flags NE on Monday. I have a friend who is able to purchase "deal meal" coupons though her employer for $10. Unfortunately she doesn't know what the meal includes and I can't find any info on their website. Does anyone have a listing of where the deal meal is accepted?

Also, how strict are they with inspecting bags/coolers? Willl I be able to bring a few bottles of water in?

the meal deals are for a burger and fries, personal pizza or fried chicken. There are quite a few different places that accept them.
As to bringing in anything, they won't let you. They sell bottled water at the parks and don't let you bring anything other than baby bottles. I tried with some bottled water and crystal light and they told me no.
The parking lot is not that far from the entrance, it took me only about 5 minutes to get from the kids area to the parking lot for our umbrellas so you can go back to the car if you have to.
I would recommend that you buy the refillable mugs. THey are about $12 for 1, 11 for 2 and 10 if you buy 3. You can refill them all day for free (you will get a wrist band) and then $.99 if you go back another day for all day refills. You can buy 1 mug and share it because they are not easy to lug around and will spill if you tip them. I got to carry 3 of them when the kids were on the rides, lucky me.

No idea as I have not been to any of them, but an fyi if you haven't noticed some boxes of cocoa pebbles and others have free child admisson with purchase of adult admission. :thumbsup2 I have an extra since I've got 2 boxes so far with them. And only one kiddo.

You might call and ask I think coolers are allowed probably checked but nothing big. BUT I would highly recommend calling and asking if they offer free ice water at the concessions. I never knew Disney did until last year. Sure beats carrying around a bunch of bottles.

We have season passes and go several times during the course of the summer. They will not allow you to bring any food in ( I will confess I sneak it in) It is really pricey to eat in the park--I rolll up sandwiches in our beach towels. They look through your bags quite thoroughly but have never asked me to unroll the towels. I also buy the mug the 1st time we hit the park in the summer and refill all summer long.

I guess it depends on our perspective, but I find going back out to the car to be a huge hassle and to take quite a while. Of course, we are not in the small kiddos area any longer, so we are farther in the park or in the water parl which is in the furthest corner of the entire property.

Feel free to PM me w/ questions. Don't for get the $15 parking fee as well! Have fun!
