I am not doing Disney this year:sad1::sad1: but am looking at six flags Mo? I am checking to see if any one has any info on the area and where to stay and if the kids will enjoy it? I know it is not Disney:sad1::sad1::sad1:
Thanks and Happy New Year

Look at Drury Inns. There are a couple properties in Fenton (the one at 141 is the newer of the nearby Drury properties.) They include breakfast, all day soda/popcorn, and evening adult refreshments and hot appetizers. They have pools both indoor and outdoor. How old are your kids? You can visit the Magic House (best for under 10 or 11), the city museum (older than 10), the science center (all ages), the zoo (all ages). The Sci Center and Zoo have free admission.

There's a lot to do in St. Louis. Right now, Six Flags has a promo for $50 season passes if you buy 4 or more. Buy now, pay later I think. If you plan to go more than 1 day, you can probably save money w/ a season pass, though last year they had a 6 visit pass for about $40. I'd do one day at the amusement park side and 1 day at the water park side. Be forewarned...it is NOT Disney. I don't visit there often and haven't been in a couple years.
