Six Feet Under -vs- The Sopranos

We were talking this weekend with my aunt this weekend about The Sopranos and how much we love that show. We do not have HBO but bought all 4 seasons on DVD and we are almost caught up and plan on getting HBO in March when it starts up again.

She was saying how much she LOVES Six Feet Under and she is a big Soprano fan as well. She says she might like it a little better. Well now of course, my DH and I are curious about this show.

It's like apples and oranges!

One is about the mob, and the other is about a funeral home and the family who funs it.

Between the two, I like the Sopranos better.

I love them both! Rent Season 1 of SFU. If you like what you see, you'll like the series..... The writing is excellent and the characters are quirky and great..

Blondie hit it right on the head Apples and Oranges. They both have well written scripts and stories, and unusually strong acting. Sopranos is especially graphic with respect to violence, 6FU is graphic with respect to...adult issues

I think as long as you are um...not prudish...you'll enjoy Six Feet Under. Its a very adult show, but the writing and acting is amazing.

I think they are both great shows.

Some of the acting in Soprano's is so real - like the fights between husband and wife.

Six feet under is an EXCELLENT show! Rent the first season like someone else said. I think anyone who can handle the 'adult content' of the sopranos can handle the 'adult content' of six feet under.

I really enjoy both those shows.
Although they are different genre's they are both excellent
