Wade Boggs did a guest appearance on Cheers, which co-starred Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane
The character Frasier Crane (and Kelsey Grammer) had his own show, Frasier where one of the chracters was a dog named Eddie, played by Hollywood dog, Moose
Moose was in My Dog Skip, also starring kevin Bacon

When I lived in Athens, I ended up at a few parties with Michael Stipe. Michael Stipe produced Being John Malkovich, which starred John Cusack. John Cusack was in Grosse Point Blank with Minnie Driver, who was in Sleepers with Kevin Bacon.

I got to hang out with Social Distortion one night because I was interviewing their opening band for a magazine. Social D had a song on Jarheads, which starred Jake Gyllenhaal, who was in Moonlight Mile with Dustin Hoffman, who was in Sleepers with Kevin Bacon.

I think there were a lot of different ways I could have done that, but my connections are all kind of tenuous.

Okay, stealing this idea.
When I was a Nanny in NJ I knew a soap star through work. It has been over 14 years since I worked for that family and I can't think of her name right now. I believe she played Brooke someone or that was her real name. My "kid"s went to school with her DD so she called often about school stuff, it was the school by Eddie Murphy's mansion. I have an autographed scipt somewhere bt I am to lazy to to go and find it. When she would call the house she would go by Mrs. "Dh's" name and it took me weeks to realize who it was since I never watched the show.

BTW, she was always very nice to.

A little OT but did anyone see the Will & Grace episode w/ Kevin? He actually did the six degree thing too but did it in three (I think) it was really a tongue in cheek episode for him and one of my all time favorites. I LOVE LOVE LOVE (times infinity) Kevin Bacon!!

I can get there in one step! I just last week was in meetings with a Marine officer who was an extra in the movie "A Few Good Men" and was on set for a month. He had some really nice things to say about his time with Kevin Bacon and Jack Nicholson, as opposed to what he had to say about his time with the other "star" of that movie.

OT: RE Wayne Gretzky - he was VERY nice. My DH does some work for the San Antonio Spurs who also own an AHL team. The Rampage are the AHL affiliate of the Coyotes so he brought the Coyotes to SA for a game.

A lot of my coworkers (radio) also do game day ops stuff for the Spurs/Rampage so I have a photo pass. I was taking pictures for our websites and had my DS with me. He approached me to take a pic with DS and then offered to sign his jersey and a bunch of t-shirts I had. It was really suprising because he wasn't really do any meet and greet. He just noticed I had a camera and a 5-year old hockey fan.

Back to Kevin Bacon - like I said I'm 1 degree. I met him in the Gap. Again he was really nice I was looking at a coat for my DH. I was with DH's best friend who is 6'7" They were out of mediums and I couldn't judge if the L would fit DH. Kevin Bacon told me he liked the coat and I made some comment that I couldn't tell if would fit right size because I was shopping with a giant so he put it on for me. I bought the coat...DH returned it, it was too big.

my friend's uncle is a song writer who wrote songs for the Backstreet Boys at one point. Nick Carter was an extra in the movie Edward Scissorhands which starred Johnny Depp......who later played in the movie the Astronaught's Wife with Charlize Theron.......who played in the movie Trapped with Kevin Bacon.

that looks like a little more than 6 degrees, but i tried lol.
