I can get to Kevin Bacon in 3 steps (go ahead, oooh and aahhh) About a million years ago, OK 20, I was in the same ice show as an Olympic figure skater named Christopher Bowman (1) who played a vampire in The Lost Boys with Keifer Sutherland (2), who was in A Few Good Men with . . . Kevin Bacon (3)!

DH was in a movie called Taps back in 1981. Sean Penn was one of the stars in the film. Many years later, Sean Penn and Kevin Bacon star in Mystic River.

I honestly thought Sean Penn was in Taps, but a quick look of imdb did not say anything.

Yep, he was in it. IMDB Sean Penn instead of Taps and you'll see it in his filmography.

I was wondering why you were second-guessing yourself!

Hmm...my connection....um....Guiding Light was always my favorite soap opera and Kevin Bacon was on it?

That's about as close as I can come.

Kevin Bacon's father is architect Edmund Bacon who lives in Philadelphia. When I lived in Philadelphia I met Edmund Bacon once.

I live in Philadelphia, never met Edmund Bacon, Kevin's dad, but may have unknowingly passed him on the street or sat next to someone on the el who knew someone who knew Edmund or Kevin.

Oh, wait, how about I met Ed Rendell (actually he was gladhanding while running for DA but I kept seeing him all over the city that month & shook his hand several times), he probably knew Edmund!

Ive met singer Alan Doyle on a couple of occassions, Alan Doyle is friends with/works with Russell Crowe, Ron Howard directed Russell in Cinderella Man and also directed Kevin Bacon in Apollo 13 !

1 - I met Kevin Bacon buying shoes at the Gap. I was buying a coat for my DH. He tried it on for me...DH returned the coat.

I could claim the All My Children linage too. I went to HS with Collin Eggisfield who plays Josh on AMC....with Jill Larson (Opal) who was in the Circle in the Square Theater Workshop with Kevin Bacon!

When I lived in San Diego I once meet Jerry Lewis ( incredible sweet man) who guess starred in an episode of Mad About You, that was just on TV the other day, starring Helen Hunt, who was in Twister, who starred Bill Paxton who was in Indian Summer who starred Diane Lane in My Dog Skip starring Kevin Bacon!
