site size and tent tips

Allright... call me crazy but soon I am going to have to figure out how I want our campsite set up so that when we get there I can spend less time gettin "chores" done and more time to get to vacation faster!! So this is a 2 part question.... PLEASE answer as much as you can... every drop of info is invaluable to this planning adict... thanks a bunch!

1. What is the "average" tent camp site dimensions... so that I may set up my own mock site here...

2. what tips do you have for keeping camp "less" and vacation more!! we have the dining plan so noooo cooking..

On our last trip, we were put in 1500, but the site was way too small for us. We had 2 tents plus a screen tent and there was no way that would have fit! So, we moved to the 2000 loop, where the sites are much larger.

We usually set up our tent toward the back of the site, with the door facing toward the street, and our screen tent gets set up over the picnic table, over near the electricity, so we can run extension cords for our coffee pot and any other appliance we might need.

We always stay in the 1500 loop. First trip, site was great. Right next to the comfort station, but we only had one tent and screen house. On our last trip we had two very large tents and the even larger screen house and six people and they gave us a site that would only hold one very small tent. We just called them and asked if we could move to the next site over and they were great about it.
