Sitcom, redhead, ABC?

Okay, my mom is going nutty. There was a sitcom I believe on ABC that had a redhead as the main star. There was a taller nerdy guy and a larger black woman as her friends. Mom thinks they worked in some sort of news room. It is no longer on the air but we need the name of the redhead. Any help???

Less Than Perfect is the show. Claude is her name (I think). It comes on Tuesday nights at 9:30.

Sara Rue plays "Claude". She is a real honey. The nerdy guy is played by Andy Dick. By the way, the other day they repeated the Trading Spaces episode where Andy and Sara traded rooms. It was a funny episode, especially when Andy kept saying to Paige, Gen, Ty or whoever that he was gonna go "take a quick five". I also liked during the reveal when Sara said the walls in her office looked 'garbage-can gray'.

The reason I was asking was my mom swore Ginnifer Goodwin (Mona LIsa Smile) was the girl from 'Less Then Perfect' (Sare Rue). I didn't think they looked the same but she did so I asked because neither one of us could remember the show name. (Ya gotta hate when that happens!) So, thanks ya'll!
