I've eaten at the Liberty Tree in MK, but other than that nothing else except character meals. Wondering what the other sit down places are without characters where you can order off a menu. Want to stay in the park, but after 3 days of being in the park will want something different.

Which ones do you like?

We like LTT for lunch best, but there is also the Plaza (sandwiches, mostly), Be Our Guest for dinner (you can get your picture with the Beast at the end but it is easily skipped) and Tony's (Italian, very mixed reviews).

You have these choices -

Liberty Tree (lunch only; dinner menu is family style)
Plaza Restaurant (basically a sandwich shop)
Tony's (very basic Italian, almost too basic for some)
Be Our Guest (dinner only; lunch is counter service; Beast is there but he doesn't visit tables.)

I can't personally recommend Tony's and BOG is really hard to get into. I'd take Liberty Tree but Plaza would probably be a good basic meal

Honestly, my favorite MK TS is the Plaza. We've done everything else, except Crystal Palace, and I haven't found the food to be worth the cost, since we tend to pay OOP for everything.

I love the plaza! It doesn't have a fancy menu but it's really yummy! I also like Tony's. It is very basic italian and about an olive garden quality but I have always enjoyed my meals there.

I have to say, we went to Tony's on our last trip and were truly unimpressed with the food. Our server was great. But the food? Mediocre would be a compliment.

We're hoping for a reservation at Be Our Guest on our next trip, but those are still a hot ticket item at MK - so of course, if you're already within the 180 day window, you may well be too late to get reservations at Be Our Guest, unless you are lucky enough to hit a reservation that was opened back up after someone cancelled... (Good luck, if you are!) :)

I've heard good things about Liberty Tree Tavern and the Plaza, but can't vouch for them myself.

We ate at the Plaza and thought it was OK but we also don't really like sandwiches. LTT is also not food I would eat, so that's a personal preference. We had BOG for dinner and thought the food was average, tasted as though it may have been frozen. Lunch, on the other hand, was really good and we hope to go back this trip. CRT was not character when we went, but is now, and again was very disappointing as far as food goes.

Tony's was really good the first time I went 5 years ago, and was one of DHs favorite just because of nostalgia. Each time the food declines but we did book a reservation for lunch during our honeymoon at the end of May. Mostly due to the fact that we don't like anywhere else in MK and wanted a full day in the park. It probably is on par with Olive Garden but we just were hoping to relax and get a byte to eat. Because or expectations are very low, I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

I like the Plaza a lot. It's one of our must dos. They have a great sundae.

Thanks! I think they should add another sit down place there, they have a captive audience and wish there were more choices.
