We're having trouble fining resturants in Magic Kingdom for a quality sit down lunch and dinner. Suggestions, please?

the only table service we have tried at MK is liberty tree tavern for dinner and i highly recommend it. it's a family style "thanksgiving" feast. we usually go counter service at lunch at MK at pecos bill's or cosmic rays.

Our family likes Tonys and Crystal Palace. Although CP is a character meal, the buffet is very good. At Tony's we like to sit in the sun room and watch the people. The food is good, about par with chain Italian restraunts like Olive Garden. Both have nice atmospheres and are a good place to relax in the heat. Usually if we are going to MK we will either eat a counter service or go to one of the resorts on the monorail for dinner. The food is much better in the resorts and it is easy to get to.

The Crystal Palace is excellent for both lunch and dinner. Buffet style with Pooh and friends so everyone is bound to find something they like. Liberty Tree Tavern is also great for both. Family-style "Thanksgiving" feast for dinner and al a carte menu for lunch!

I would steer clear of Tony's, not really the best food. And if you are looking for a cheaper option the Plaza Restaurant located at the end of Main Street, serves some excellent sandwiches perfect for a sit down lunch.

We usually do a CRT breakfast or lunch one day and then Liberty Tree for lunch on another day. Tony's is Ok...really depends on the day. Cyrstal Palace is a good buffet. Options at MK are really limited which is why for dinner we always head over to one of the monorail hotels. Lots of great choices to pick from (O'hana, Kona, Cal Grill, Narcosses, Citricos, WCC, Artist Point)

I would highly recommend The Wave at CR for dinner, it is a short walk or monrail ride from MK. We also enjoy CP for all meals, haven't done LTT for a few years, enjoyed our dinner there we have lunch booked there this year and trying Tony's again wasn't real impressed when we went before but it was years ago and the menu has changed. There is also The Plaza and like others said many resort options near by Trail Ends buffet at Fort Winderness is a cheap option with some pretty good food.

Crystal Palace is probably our favorite and agree with previous post, stay away from Tony's. Also, it is considered QS, but the Columbia Harbour House has good fish and a nice place to sit upstairs and enjoy the view.

We like Crystal Palace, we have done it for breakfast and lunch. The food is good and I liked the atmosphere. Pooh and friends are they as others have mentioned. We did LTT for dinner several years ago and I did not care for the food much. If you have time and do not want a character meal I would go on the monorail to the Wave, Ohana or even a boat ride to Whispering Canyon.

There arent as many options as the other parks but if you havent tried CRT you should do it once. We enjoy Plaza resturant, its more of a sandwich icecream shop but it is different than most other places in the park. It is table service and relatively inexpensive.

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch is WONDERFUL. On our last trip we had family members ranging in age from 2 to 63. Everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We have also found the service to be exceptional.

Same here - we've been to most of the MK table service restaurants, and this is the only one we repeat. (We have 3 boys, and the last time we were at CRT was when our oldest was 18 months old - so I have no recent experience there. :(

I'll second previous poster's suggestion about taking the monorail to one of the resorts. We go to Poly for dinner at Ohana, and plan to try Kona next trip.

Love the Plaza for lunch! We also enjoy Liberty Tree for lunch but not so much dinner. I agree with the PP that suggested you go over to the Contemporary and try The Wave for dinner. We had a wonderful meal there! Much better than most (if not all) food in the MK.

(We also enjoy CP but prefer it for breakfast over lunch/dinner)

The Plaza has a great lunch or CHH.
Dinner
Castle - good
Tony's - Italian -very good
CP - Buffet - good
LTT -Thanksgiving type meal- good

Another recommendation for LTT here.
