Sit down! Buckle up! & Hang On! Mickeystoontown's Gang is going to Walley World! 5/15

Your Epcot day sounds nice. We love the new TT, but I really would encourage you to go through the regular queue line at least once. When you use the FP line, you will get to pick your cars, but you can't design everything like you do when you wait in the regular line. To us, the designing of the car helps the re-themed ride make sense. And the competitive nature of my boys makes the end where you see how your car stacks up against all the other designs a must do.

Get ready to fall in love, Lisa!!! Animal Kingdom Lodge is probably my all-time favorite place to be! The lobby is amazing and I love the animals. I just can't say enough about my love for that place. :rotfl:

Boma is one of our favorites. I think it's because you can try different things without feeling like you are locked into eating it, like you would be at a restaurant where you have to pick something specific. I think the food is different, but not so different that you can't figure out what you are eating...for the most part.

I TOTALLY agree!!! That's why we bought DVC points there!

Great plans! 24 hours in MK, Fun in Epcot and some resort visits sound fabulous! I've never eaten at Whispering Canyon, but it sounds and looks good! My DH would love one of those skillets!

Boma is NOT that scary, trust me! My DH is a plain meat and potatoes kind of guy, and he loves the meat there, especially when they have ribs. My DD12 is super picky, and there's enough on the "kids" section to keep her happy. If all else fails, go to that area and grab some mac and cheese or chicken nuggets! Plus they have great desserts!

Definitely agree with this! I am sorta picky sorta not and Boma is one of my favorite restaurants in all of disney! I loved the meat , and the mashed potatoes (who knew?) were delicious! And the desserts are AMAZING! And if you are picky about dessert too, they have plain cookies and other american desserts as well as more exotic desserts.

AKL is soooooo gorgeous! It is lovely there and i hope to someday stay there! I just love AKL!

Now i really want to try out WCC! Those skillets look delicious!

I NEED to try via napoli! I just loooooove pizza! How Awesome is it that you get to go there as well! So jealous!

I only have a minute because I am FREAKING out! My temp called me a little while ago......she can't fill in for me! Holy Moly Moo Moo Cows! I'm going crazy calling everybody that I know in the hope that I'll find somebody else! Why? Oh Why? Why is this happening to me? Oh I know why..... life is a topsy turvy whirlwind....that's why! :faint:

Going to visit AKL and eat at Boma is one of our plans for our next trip. We have thought of staying here but decided to visit first. Plus it cost more :rotfl: But it sure looks like a cool resort from the pictures.

LOVE AKL! We are staying there, once again, when I go with the girls only in August. We were supposed to stay at POR-Royal Rooms, but the other mom and daughter wanted to try AKL as they've never stayed there before. DD has never done POR, but she was OK with going back to AKL because we love it there! I know you will all find something to love at BOMA! Be sure to try all the soups. My favorite is the Butternut Squash. We have never walked away hungry, and everyone (even my very picky DS) finds things to eat. In fact, it was one of his picks for meals when I take him and his cousin this summer. That says a LOT!

I'm so glad you're trying Boma. It is very interesting and a great place to have a buffet so you can try lots of different things. Our whole crew enjoys it, even my picky husband. And the waiters are very helpful with advice. And Animal Kingdom Lodge is just fabulous. I've always wanted to stay there. Be sure to take time while you are there to visit the gift shop (some things there I've never seen anywhere else) and visit the pool area and the Savannah overlooks. We always go early for our ADR and scope everything out!
I really enjoyed Coronado Springs when we stayed there. I think it has a similar vibe to Caribbean Beach, so you will probably feel right at home there!

Oh, my goodness, how could your sub do that to you? :confused3 Good luck finding a replacement. Otherwise your boss will just have to take off that time for his vacation!:rolleyes2

Oh My! How terrible that your temp just canceled 5 days before your trip. That's terrible. I hope it all works out.

I love your last two updates. The pictures are wonderful, but your touring plan is even better. I love that you are doing a complete resort day. It really looks like a lot of fun.

That plate of desserts from Boma looks to die for. I feel like I could just reach out and take a piece. YUM. YUM!

I hope you love CSR and AKL. I'll be curious to see what you think.

OH NO:scared1: !!!!! Now that would be stressful, hope you find someone soon.

Good stuff first: Great plans! I love Boma (breakfast, doing dinner for the first time this year! Yay!
I love all the Epcot plans. We did Captain Eo last year and I would do it again if I had to kill some time. But certainly not if there was anything better to do! :rotfl:
I hope you enjoy AoA. I loved it there in September, what a great resort. So big and bright and fun!

And the bad: OH MAN that sucks about your temp cancelling on you just 5 days before you go!! I hope you find someone and soon!

So much to remember since I was so far behind. The most important thing is about celebrating Hunter's birthday with the 24 hour party. That sounds like so much fun-but I know I wouldn't be able to go anywhere the next day.

We tried Boma a few years ago--Enjoyed the meal and especially seeing AKL.

Can you believe how close we are? You go to Disney next week and tomorrow puts me in the teenage digits! :)

Oh no! I really hope you can find someone to replace you. If you didn't, your boss wouldn't make you miss your trip, would he? I sure hope not!

I think you should try giving the standby queue at Test Track a try, if the wait is not too bad. It's quite fun to design your own car! Not worth an hour wait for sure though.

I watched Captain EO and found it utterly boring. Skip it, seriously.

I miss Art of Animation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you like it there, it's so wonderful!

OH NO :scared:. I know you have found somebody by now, right? I would be freaking out too!!! I am freaking out too :faint:.

Holy temp drama Batman! I sure hope you can find someone fast!! You really don't need this kind of chaos just a few days before your trip!!
Fingers crossed!

BREATHE! You ARE going, no matter what. Your family comes first and I know you feel that way. And you are right, topsy turvy whirlwind...something (ok many things!) go wrong and it will work out, but GEEZ could you have a lot less drama to have to handle.:hug:

Great minds think alike. ;) If we stayed at the AKL, it'd have to be in a standard room since we stay so many days. I just can't do that to my pocketbook. :rotfl:

Yay for another stay at AKL! I know that you're excited! My Mama loves soup so I'm sure she'll have a field day trying all the offerings at Boma.

It's good to hear that even picky eaters will enjoy Boma. I'm not a real adventurous eater but do like to try different things.

I'm hoping that we'll have time to walk around AKL and look in the shop. That's one of the things that I like to do when we visit a new resort.

From the pictures that I have seen of CSR, it looks like it has the same laid back feel as the CBR and that's what we are looking for.

Oh, my goodness, how could your sub do that to you? :confused3 Good luck finding a replacement. Otherwise your boss will just have to take off that time for his vacation!:rolleyes2

I can understand the why but it sure does suck! Update coming up with more info.

A couple of years ago, we took a day to visit Pop Century and Saratoga Springs and I really enjoyed just walking around and checking things out. It's not really John's cup of tea but he'll induldge me. ;)

OH NO:scared1: !!!!! Now that would be stressful, hope you find someone soon.

It is very stressful right now!:crazy2:

OMG- That doesn't mean that you would have to stay if you can't get a temp? HOLY MOLY!!

When I had my second son, I interviewed a temp to cover me for my maternity leave..... This was a Friday and I was supposed to be able to train her for 2.5 weeks until I had the baby.. Landen decided he was ready that night and I had them Saturday. The temp just had to figure it out.. LOL
