I just had to share this with you all. I bet a lot of you remember the saga that my sister had with getting her new house and the horrendous pics of it on the first night they owned it. Well me and my OH went to stay with them this weekend and the difference is astounding!!

Here's a pic of the living room on the night they moved in:

And here it is on Sunday, from the same angle:

I can't believe how hard they've worked on this in just a couple of weeks!

I'm glad things are getting on the normal side over there. It looks like they have officially moved in too. If the tele is there it must be true! LOL

Congrats Sis of Queenie!

Don't you move the tele first? When I was in college and my roomate and I were moving apartments we had our main tv on in the old apartment with our soaps on and then one of our bedroom tvs in the family room at the new place with them on. That way we packed boxes and drove them over during commericals to the new place but we could listen/watch the soaps over their too.

that's what the portable DVD player is for, it's my baby sitter. We never move close enough to drive during commercials.

We just happened to be moving in the same complex so it worked out. When we moved last year the last thing my DH took apart was the TV and tivo. I was still recording shows the night before the movers came. Then he hooked the Tivo back up first when we moved in so that I wouldn't miss a show that night.

Wow, they have worked hard. Looks great.
