Sister won travel vouchers but can not use them?

My sister won travel vouchers at her work's Christmas party. They are Northwest Airline vouchers good for 2 roundtrip airfare to anywhere international or continental. She will not be able to use them at all. Does anyone know what she could do with them. They are nonrefundable so she can't get the money back from the airline. Thank you to all who can help.

Are they transferable? Meaning anyone can use them? If so, I'd try and sell them on ebay. If they are nontransferable, that means she can't even give them away...so either she has to use them or they go in the trash. She might call northwest to see if they'll extend the deadline for use cuz you never know.

They don't have any name on them so I don't know if that means anything. And they expire in a year.
