Sister Wives

I am in the minority here, but despite loving Janelle's time with Mr. Delusional, I did agree with him on one point.

I said this on here years ago. Janelle absolutely should & can show her support to Christine, she is her sister wife. But she still was very much Kody's wife as well, at that point. And I personally did not think it was loving to have what looked like zero compassion over & over about the fact that he was emotionally suffering through a separation/divorce. Regardless that he caused it, she was his wife & he was suffering. You can still have compassion for someone suffering, even if they are at fault for the outcome.

I get it, she was done. But I do understand Kody's point as well.

Yes they did. I think Kody's name is on every parcel, but shared with various 3 wives.
My God, what a mess. So if sold, he gets 50% & they get just under 17% each of the full parcel. Insane.

(Did I even get that right?🤭🤩)

Wait Kody gets more. If Robyn and him split he would get half of hers automatically because they are legally married. Well with my laws here.

Whose names are on Christine's former parcel? Ie. Is there a parcel with all four names on it?

I teeter between intense curiosity after all this & feeling bad knowing so much. 🤭

I saw a clip today where Janelle met with Meri and advised her to make sure her interests in Coyote Pass was protected so she would be sure to get her fair share and Meri seemed to think that was unnecessary as she trusted Kody and Robyn to be fair and equitable to her.

Woman, where have you been the last few years?

I think we did see Janelle trying to be supportive to Kody when everything started with Christine. But things were already strained with them by that point because he refused to go over there since he was already fighting with her boys. So what was she going to do? Go over to Robyn’s to console him? No way.

I think Kody's treatment of the children ended any compassion Janelle would have for Kody. That coupled with the treatment of his wives. But I think she really couldn't believe how cruel he was to his own kids. Sorry, if I were Janelle, I'd have zero compassion for him as well.

If I remember correctly Janelle said she was empathetic to Kody (it just wasn’t shown on the show much) but she was also there for Christine. But Kody wants blind loyalty. He was happy that his 5 year old was “mad” at Christine because it showed her loyalty to him. He’s whacked out to put that on a child.

Kody had sister wives. They turned binds deeper than he had with his own wives. They raised each others kids. She understood what Christine was going through more than anything.

I had zero thoughts of her going over to Robyn's and consoling him.

I see from mi*vida*loca's post that there was some empathy simply for his loss of his marriage. 👍🏼

Understood. 👍🏼

I am simply remembering a woman (Janelle) that seemed very much married to him at this point.

She was also still very much committed to life on Coyote Pass, during these days. Christine's decision that she was leaving him came very early in Flagstaff.

Absolutely. Agreed.
And thank you for the 'off screen' information.

And I know all of Kody's faults. It is simply one area where I personally believe his thoughts are not invalid - that he felt very much alone going through the separation, despite all his hurtful mistakes - that have affected all adversely.

I am not supporting Kody at all, he's an ***. I just believe he is an *** that had a valid point.

Kody burned bridges with Meri, Janelle, and Christine years ago.

The wives checked out of the marriages a long time ago.

Like other men I've seen going through divorce, they don't listen when the woman tries to talk when things are in trouble. Then for some reason, the man act like they're blindsided when she follows through with the divorce.

.

Did anyone watch this week? So many cringy moments, such as David meeting Kody for the first time. And Christine trying to tell Meri how great life is after divorce. I felt bad for Meri - they are not close like that.

Christine needs to stop evangelizing about divorce. Everyone has their own journey to make. They don't need her pressuring them to do things her way.

Robin said in a past season That if Christine didn't go to the Church that she and Kody were not really "divorced," Kody is pissed that one of the wives went to the Church and shocked it was Meri, I'm sure. I hope Christine & Jenelle do it too.

Christine has said that she is not going to the church for a divorce as she does not belong to that church or beleive in the same thing any longer.

Kody is UBER pissed b/c the church ruled that he was the party at fault for 'abandonment'. spiritual divorce is not something easily achieved in the church and for a woman to granted it on that basis is very rare. robyn's desire to have other sister wives in the future will be terribly impacted by this b/c no woman who has even the slightest religious ties to the church would never consider Kody as a potential spouse b/c of this ruling.

i'm not surprised meri was the one to do it. it's been rumored that despite their publicly saying that they no longer are associated with the church that meri at the very least had to still have had good standing b/c her late mom WAS an active member and held a position within it such that the church never would have permitted her to do the filming she did for years at the b&b with meri absent meri having some kind of good standing.

Okay. I told myself I wasn't going to get sucked in again. I lied. LOL My summary of the past few episodes...

Kody. Oh. my. gosh. Stop making sound like Meri left YOU, and that you were blindsided by her asking for an official "divorce" from the church. Just stop it. And then Robyn trying to push Kody to reconsider when we all know he was done with Meri YEARS ago. And Kody, stop trying to make it like you did nothing wrong and that it's all the wives and kids fault, or that they all hate Robyn and that's why they hate you now. I think it's the other way around they hate YOU and associate Robyn with you, because you refused to do anything more than wave at any of your non-Robyn kids from 2020 to 2022 because of COVID. So STOP playing the victim and acting like you're prefect.
