I agree! He's spouting a load of BS to make himself feel better. He could have been there to hold Ysabel's hand before the surgery, wait with Christine to help ease her anxiety and be there when Ysabel woke up. Then he could have stayed a few more days to support them both before going back to AZ. It would have been a simple thing to do. He just refused to do it. I think it was because he resented Christine for breaking his Covid rules. So Ysabel had to suffer too because she's "Christine's child." The man takes ownership and accountability for nothing.

I really just do not understand how the "Head" of a large Plural family thinks it's ok to pick and choose which kids he will be with and which ones he will not, which wives he will be a husband to and which ones he will not. He's a complete joke. Everytime I see him I just imagine him with a big red clown nose on....that and his hair and he is a real life Bozo the Clown.

I'm just still so shocked that his excuse for not going for the surgery was that he couldn't stay gone for 6-8 weeks. Like others have said, he could have gone for a few days to support her. Why did it have to be all or nothing? Why does he throw away his kids when they turn 18? Oh wait, he doesn't if they are Robin's kids!!

Have any of the kids gone into plural marriage? I don’t think I have ever seen it referenced on the show. If not, it is a very telling indictment of how Cody has portrayed plural marriage to all those kids. It made them not want any part of it after seeing how their Mom’s were treated.

No. Aspyn's husband Mitch is the only spouse that grew up in polygamy and his sister practices. She was on a season on Seeking Sister Wives. But Aspyn and Mitch are not planning on practicing polygamy.

This episode was just so sad. He truly is so delusional and takes no responsibility for any of his actions. His claiming that this is so fast and that Christine never said anything about being unhappy is BULL****. We have so much evidence of her telling him she wasn't happy. On top of that what really got me was how she can't make a unilateral decision (deciding to leave him) but it was okay for him to make a unilateral decision (they weren't going to have an intimate marriage). Someone needs to get the counselor back as he has really gone off the deep end. I think they ALL should leave him. The problem is HIM, not the wives.

I'm thinking we'd know if Robyn had been hospitalized. I'm guessing she went to the ER or something.

The clip only mentioned season 17. They haven't mentioned if it's renewed for season 18 yet. So I assume this was all still to come this season?

It really does seem like he has estranged all the adult kids except maybe Mykelti. Of course he will blame Christine. But he has to know the kids are going to side with the only parent who has been there for them throughout their lives.

It looks to me like when Christine leaves, he points his rage at Janelle.
