I always felt that Meri would leave Kody once Mariah was 18. In all honesty if I was Meri I would have stayed in Utah and let Mariah finish high school.



Insurance - Kody said he only claimed Mariah and Meri for a long time. Janelle had insurance for her kids but there was a short time where she did not and they are still paying off that bill. Kody then said his employer was understanding and that he was allowed to claim all his kids. That still leaves Christine with no insurance. Robyn's DH might be covering his kids but Robyn is probably uninsured. Now they all are most likely uninsured but they may have bought private insurance with the money from the show.

To be fair, I do remember him telling a story about not putting all the kids on his insurance at one time and then one of the kids not on insurance had surgery and they had a very large bill and it took a long time to pay. Wouldn't the state pick up the bill,though?

The state would only pick up the bill if they were on Public Assistance, which they said they have never done. I know when we had a large medical bill no one picked it up for us. My husband was on unemployment then. We slowly paid it off.

I've always felt Meri just agreed because she loved him so much she didn't want to lose him, not because she wanted to have sister wives. Makes me sad for here that he's such a selfish pinhead.

I also get the feeling that he wants to just be with Robin right now. The other's are nothing but a nuisance.

For whatever reason, it just showed up on my DVR as recorded. Sunday night or yesterday it wasn't. If you searched the show it didn't show up either.

I was wondering if Christine wanted more kids or was pregnant as one of her requirements was a 5 bedroom house. She and Janelle both have 6 kids right now.

What a poorly written article. First I've read that Christine is pregnant again.

I can see Meri and Christine being happy to have their own houses. Less commotion and less work. But if Janelle is working and supporting the four households, what help does she get? Before Christine would watch her kids and seems like help with cooking but now Janelle gets to do it all.

I can't see any of this working out, how selfish of Cody. The kids grew up together and need each other. They had to leave their friends and pets, and now their siblings. What a train wreck, but I can't stop watching.

When Cody walked into Robyn's house last night one her girls yelled "daddys here..." Now they havent been married that long for her to be calling him daddy....and where is her Ex?

ugh...I've heard that a few times and it bugs me to death. Step kids calling someone else "daddy" annoys me.

Do you think he wants to be with Robin because she is the most fit/attractive of the four? I noticed that Meri seems to have put on some weight since the show started. It would suck to be the middle-aged wife with middle-aged spread and have Cody bring a younger, cute, skinny thing home . Is he going to keep doing that?

OP here; I'm so glad to see that this thread is still going strong!

I just got caught up on the past couple shows, and all I can say is...those poor teens. Forget their lifestyle; just imagine how YOU would have reacted at 15/16 if your father gathered you and your siblings together and said "OK, we're moving in 3 days and you can't tell anyone or say goodbye to your friends". I would NOT have been happy and probably would have been a LOT more vocal than they are showing on film.

Question: has anyone ever seen a list of which kids belong to which mom? I keep losing track of them all; the only ones I can remember are Dayton (Robyn's son) and Mariah (Meri's daughter; she looks JUST like her mom!). If anyone wants to take a stab at a list, I'd love to see it!

This is what I found. I'm not sure if the ages are still correct.

Janelle:

Sure, she's younger and fitter, makes HIM feel younger and fitter. He seems to be in pretty good shape. She's fun, wants to do athletic things, maybe the others don't so much?

He may just do that, but if I'm not mistaken, one of the other sister wives brought Robin into the mix. Maybe she was tired of being the 'go to' wife.
