I agree with Kim, it's your birthday and you are allowed to splurge. Just get back on track today and no harm done!

I hope your DD is feeling better. Fortunately those stomach bugs only last 24 hours or so. My DS9 used to be a champion barfer. Luckily he's pretty much grown out of that... :crazy2:

I will be sure to post some pictures from the cruise - if I'm brave I might even include a picture of myself! ;)
 
Thanks girls! Man, I re-read my post from yesterday....what a psycho-downer!! I'm better today though! Really overdid it on the calorie intake yesterday, but I"m back on track today! Did 40 minutes w/ Bob this morning and had peanut butter & banana toast for b-fast!

The rest of the day is looking good!!

Thanks for the pixiedust: for DD6-she's home w/ daddy today...still running a little fever, but not throwing up anymore....thank goodness!! Also, thanks for the b-day wishes...it really was a special day!!

Will update the intake later!! Thanks for letting me have my diet free b-day....I was REALLY feeling guilty this morning! :guilty:

Today was busy....tomorrow will be worse....

b-peanut butter & banana on toast
s-2 crackers w/ spread stuff
l-ham on wheat w/ mustard
s-6 fat free pringles...then 2 york peppermint patties (mini)
d-i want a big ol greasy cheeseburger from the place on the corner, but i will settle for a salad. i have alot to make up for from yesterday! :guilty:
water intake - 60 oz...plus 12 oz of caffine free coke. :confused3 i was stressing out!
resisted-i don't remember....probably more mints and other chocolate crap.
exercise-40 minutes w/ bob this morning. i am going to try to do 40 minutes again tonight...but brought home a bunch of work....we'll see what happens.

Thanx Amber! Did good w/ dinner....had a salad w/ spicy grilled chicken...actually pretty good!.....but then I had Oreo Ice Cream cake for desert... :confused3 no exercise....brought work home w/ me and had to get it done....getting ready for an audit.... :rolleyes1 oh well!!

I am going to take the kids to Lowes to pick out paint for the bathrooms, then to the mall for jeans shopping (DS) and then to Chili's for dinner and off to the hotel for the night....(both bathrooms will be out of service because of the tile and we can't walk on it for 24 hrs!) I will get a salad for dinner tonight otherwise I'll definately show a gain...i'm also worried because I haven't run since tuesday....I'm trying to stay focused....just a lot going on around here..... :crazy:

I hate Mondays!! Especially now that it's Weigh & Pay day! Well, the pool is up to $60.00, but it doesn't look like I'm going to be winning it anytime soon!!

OK....I'm tired of my clothes not fitting...it's Spring and I want to look decent in shorts....time to get my fat butt in gear and KEEP IT IN GEAR!! NO MORE SLACKING!! :furious:
 
Ok, so you had a bad weekend. That is that, now it is time o pick yourself up and get back on track! You can do it! :cheer2:

I think that once you have a little bit of some yummy diet-busting snack (like ice cream cake) then it is ten times harder to resist it. So you eat more of it than you wanted to and then when it is gone you get to sigh in relief! ;)

Congrats on the tile and the taxes! Have a great day and get that exercise in! :sunny:

OMG...you are so right!! I told hubby that b-day is over....time to get back on track on eating and exercizing!! We both did our 2 mile walk this morning (30 minutes) and it felt pretty good! We will do our run tonight and I think I'll workout w/ Bob tonight too! Sis#2 is in the lead so far....gotta give her a run for her money!!

See...that's the hard part!! I did something I shouldn't have done this morning.....I weighed myself. :guilty: I know I'm only supposed to weigh on Monday, but I just wanted to see if anything had changed....well...it had.
Monday I was at 164 and today I'm at 161. I'm not counting it, but it felt pretty good. It made me want to go running this morning, but I had to get ready for work. :sad2: I was feeling pretty lazy this morning and did a modified Bob workout...mostly arms w/ weights and leg lifts.

I WANT THAT 5 POUND LOSS CLIPPIE!!

IMHO, it's ok to check up on the scale in between weigh-ins. Just try not to count on that number too much. I know it's hard & I do it to myself too. I love when I creep down a little bit, but then I get upset if that loss isn't still there on weigh in day. :confused3

Anyway...I'm proud of you for jumping back on the wagon after your birthday celebration. That's hard to do! I admire how much exercise you get in too. Walk, DVD & running...WOW!!! :thumbsup2
 
Thanks Kim...last night's run/walk was really hard. I told DH that we're not taking that much time off again. It's like starting all over again. I ran 3/4 of the mile instead of the full mile....aarrgghhh....my legs were jello!! Tonight will be better. Plus I think I'm gonna do the DVD again tonight...I'd like to try Bob's Boot Camp Workout...i'll let you know if I survive it!!
(ya know, I would LOVE to go on the Biggest Loser....just to be able to work out and eat right for at least a week!! no interruptions, no cheating, NOTHING to get in the way! oh well.)

got up and did the 2 mile walk this morning..with 2lb hand weights! :woohoo:
lower back was hurting a little bit...did some stretches about 1/2 way through and then again when we got home. doin' ok now.
i was just looking at my food journal from yesterday....not real good...but better than 2 months ago..

b-3 mini cinnamon rolls (bite size...just enough to tick you off!!)
s-granola bar (quaker oats)
l-buffalo chicken tenders, fries, sweet tea (went to lunch w/ hubby & kids)
s-nothing, too much lunch
d-1 piece of Bobilie Pizza. yes, just one piece!!
s-10 m&m's....don't know what happend...they just jumped out at me!! :confused3
water intake- 64 oz
exercise - 15 minutes of arm weights and leg lifts in a.m.
30 min run/walk 2 mile course.
resisted - candy drawer!! (they even restocked it!! :furious: ) more than one piece of pizza.

oh, i brought an apple, tomato, cucumber and celery today....should be better for my snack attack!

ok...Kim has posted a pic of herself on her thread, so that means I will have to post one on mine....aaarrggghh!!....dh said he would help me with it tonight at home and told me to get back to work.... :crazy: he's no fun!
