I would keep the XM radio just for the NFL network but they charge us extra for it. so as soon as the 27th rolls around its back to listening to the radio, cds and my MP3 player..
I have Sirius in my car because it was free for a year when I bought the new car. I can honestly say that I won't pay for it. I don't like the way the sattelite reception cuts out when you drive under trees, there's tall buildings around, etc.
That happens to me, too. It cuts out on my way to work, on my way to the grocery store, on my way to Wal-Mart (and other places in that direction)... It also cuts out as soon as I enter the parking garage at work.

I had XM, now I have Sirius. FWIW, all satellite radio cuts out in parking garages. It will also cut out it you happen to be stuck in a tunnel or under a bridge, but so does a GPS for that matter. It's satellite, not air wave technology. I still would not go back to over the air radio. I have found that my factory installed radio gets better reception than my after market one did though.
We have XM in one vehicle (mine), and Sirius in the other. We have had it since 2005. Personally, I like XM better. I liked the channel lineup better before they merged. By the way, I noticed that since they merged my radio cuts outs out all the time. It never used to do it that much.
Update, Sirius followed through with what they promised, credited 1/2 of my yearly fee back into my account. Thank you to the poster that announced the AAA discount.
