Does anyone know the details of the Sip and Savor Pass? I'm curious about the cost and what it actually covers.

TIA

There will be little booths set up in California Adventure selling little food/drink items on the event food list. A couple of quick service places may also have items on the list. A sip and savor pass gives you 8 tabs to use for these items. If you plan to get 8 or more items from the list, the sip and savor pass can potentially save you a little bit of money. Each sip and savor pass is only valid for the event that it is for. In this case, I assume you're asking about the Christmas season one.

If I recall correctly, for food and wine festival before the shutdown, the pass was $56 ($51 for annual passholders). Food items cost somewhere between $4 and $8. So it is possible to lose money by buying the sip and savor pass and then using all the tabs on items that cost less than $7. This pass is for people who really want to try a lot of the more expensive event foods on the event food list. If your goal is to save money on food, it's cheaper to just eat proper meals at quick service restaurants than eat the event foods which have small portion sizes. The booths also tend to close early or have long lines in the afternoon which makes it difficult to use up your tabs if you aren't at California Adventure for multiple days.

Agree on great first reply! Just read up on the offerings...
Hoping for a price soon... to plan budget accordingly next week.
