Sinus sufferers, is this an additional symptom?

For weeks, I've had sinus headaches which I don't pay much attention to since they aren't as bad as the migraines I get sometimes. Basically, I don't pay much attention to ANY headache that isn't a migraine. BUT, I have also had this extremely annoying feeling of a constant lump in my throat. It doesn't interfere with food swallowing but, just swallowing saliva is a constant reminder that it's there. Is this sinus related? If it's not, I'm kinda worried. And, if it is, what can I take to minimize the feeling? I did have a sinus infection back in Feb., could this be residual from that? I just don't know and, I don't have a regular Dr. so, making an appointment would be first-time and, this doesn't seem that urgent. Just really annoying.

TIA

If you have post nasal drip the lumpy feeling may be from that. Not sure about sinus but I know allergies can manifest themselves in many ways...stomach aches, back aches, tingling, dizziness just to name a few. My eyes have been going bonkers this past week. DS is also suffering a lot. DD gets migranes, and the goopy feeling in her throat, she has had tonsils and adenoids out, but still gets horrible migranes pretty often.
I hope you feel better soon....see if OTC sinus meds help the lump, if not call your MD and maybe they can verify if this is a normal symptom or not.

Sounds like either you didn't fully get over your sinus infection or you might possibly have strep. My sinus infection started last Friday night with a scratchy throat. By Monday I felt horrible. Turned out I had a sinus AND ear infection. I have been on major meds since Monday.

You should get to the doctor. Untreated, sinus infections could eventually require surgery. In rare circumstances, untreated sinusitis can lead to meningitis or brain abscess, and infection of the bone.
