Jen, I'm so sorry to hear about what's happened. I hope you and your family are all right.

I've never done any of the WDW tours so I'm game for anything. If we're doing MNSSHP, how about getting folks in the group to dress up in pairs or multiples? That could be an interesting ice-breaking exercise that would get everyone connecting with each other before and during the trip to plan outfits -- and no, it does not have to be male-female pairs, as I don't know we would have enough males anyhow to match up with the eligible females.

Jen, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Don't think me insensitive to the ordeal you're going thru. I've seen similar situations in my job with threats and cyberbullying that can really eat at a person. For the most part, these situations end up being hoaxes, especially if the police get involved early enough. I pray this is the case and you soon come to peace.

As for the off topic statement I made, I did it not knowing that it was an emergency until the next day. I think it very appropriate that you get your girls invloved so that they can help you thru this.

First I would like to thank everyone -- the police had the 13 yr old arrested and it looks like it is going to court (Oh yeah -- -- but hopefully this kid can get help--this is his second similar offence in a year.)

Here's my thought for the MNSSHP night ....... We will draw names of maybe 4 people per group and they can "preplan a secret theme" (costumes, Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique, etc) before we leave. Anyone who doesn't want to or for some reason can't bring a costume or purchase one will be in either their own group or mingled in with the others - their choice. Maybe on the Friday, we could all "gather" at Tony's for the Magical Gatherings group breakfast (the characters serve us breakfast), then do the Keys to the Kingdom tour, have some spare time (rides !!!!! shopping !!!!!) then maybe all do the Liberty Tree Character Dining (this one is good because the characters even dress up!!) OR Cinderella's Royal Table at around 5 and then proceed to MNSSHP for a scream of a night !!!

How does that strike everyone ?????

Not a bad idea as long as the costumes aren't too outlandish. In fact, my co-workers, DS and DD would be surprised that I put on a costume at all!

Costumes can be as subtle or outlandish as YOU (as an individual) wants, no matter what your group does. Like I continually tell my kids and my daycare kids --- there are no prizes for being first/the best/etc. The whole point of this is to have fun, a few laugh (hopefully more than a few !!) and cameras fulls of wonderful memories we will have for years to come !!!!!

Here's my two cents on the whole costume thing: It's hard enough for me to figure out what costume is pheasable for me let alone two or more of us. I'm not the sour-puss of the group as I'm certainly willing to detail my ADRs for October 2009 16 months in advance...however there's just no way I can deal with the whole picking out a costume thing when I still can't make up my mind about what I'm wearing to MNSSHP this year.

I will be there on the 20th but I don't know how coherent I'll be. Working all day that Friday(19th) and flying in on the red eye from Seattle... we'll be hitting the pool at POPS most of the day and then something about Phantasmic/Mama Melrose thing. We're gonna eat there then see the show I think, I've never done this package b4. But I'm sure I'll be wiped out. (Anybody done this b4??)

I will be able to on Sunday (21st) tho. I am such a planner that my whole time usually is blocked out for activities but I know I can make time for this. It'll give my bro a chance to sleep in and maybe watch the Seahawks or something.
I'm up for anything.

Does anyone here like to golf... I suck at it but I like it. I think we're going to do a few Dis courses. My only real opportunity to drink and drive legally. (Don't worry, I never get drunk)

I totally understand the costume thing, if I bring a costume the border guards are going to have a riot with that one !! It could be as easy as matching ears and Tshirts ! When I was there 2 years ago for Halloween, I saw people with amazing costumes (ohhh if only some of those Jack Sparrows' were the real one !!!! ) pirates, Raggety Anne & Andy, obviously Disney characters etc, etc. Maybe just painted faces in Toontown with matching airbrush tatoos - it is totally up to the individual !!!! It is just an idea -- maybe we could all get the same painted faces and ears ????? WHO KNOWS ??? We are open to ideas !!!
