I have a vague recollection that last year when I was at "The World" that you could buy a single use digital camera that you could view your pix and you could erase unwanted ones until you had the 26-28 exposures that you were happy with. Did I dream this? I have never seen anything like it back home and I have started to doubt myself. We are returning to WDW in May and my kids both want one and are saving money for them and I would hate to get there and have it be something that I dreamed up. Does anyone know???

I remember a product like that used during one of the electronics convention in Canada. The picture quality however is ridiculously abysmal. In order to get 32 pics, they use the worst compression imaginable. The pic can only be printed 4x6 and when I tried to print it at 5x7, the pixels are already shown like there is no tomorrow.

I hope the final product is much better than that (what I used was the review model given away to visitors -- and returned on the way out of the fair -- no one can 'steal' the camera because the memory is built into the camera, only the vendor can retrieve the files, burn them on to a CD, then hand the CD to the visitors)

thanks for the info...i will take that into account if the kids wish to buy them. i remember them being $19.99US, so two kids buying them would be really expensive if the pix are worthless.

Take my experience with a grain of salt. As I mentioned, what I tested/used was not their final production model. Maybe it's better now.
