I've seen some people mention these and was wondering where you could buy them at? We've looked at local grocery stores but have not been able to find them. We plan on using these in the water to flavor it while at Disney. Thanks for the help.

I buy them at Gordon Food Service. The website minimus.biz also has them.

My DH ordered ours through his company cafeteria. The manager ordered a whole case for us. We used them on our last trip in August and they worked out great. The lemonade was so much more refreshing than soda and we were able to save the cost of the sodas.

Our local Kroger store now carries them. Of course I wanted them for our July DCL/WDW trip. Oh well, I know where to get them for our spring break trip! I was able to buy them from netgrocer.com . Of course they did cost a little more once you added shipping to the cost. They were VERY convenient on vacation and it was nice to have something other than water to drink. I brought my leftover lemonade/fruit punch packets to work.

I sometimes use Wylers' sugar free lemonade packets. These are designed to make two quarts, but I just shake a little bit into my water and then fold the top of the packet down to close it.

Also, Oil of Olay has these lemonade-flavored vitamin packets that you add to water. I was given some to try before they were sold in markets. I found them a bit hard to dissolve, but better than nothing.

I'm not supposed to have sugar, alcohol, or caffeine, so that makes my drink choices very limited! I bring lemonade or iced tea mix with me almost everywhere I go!

We found the Crystal Light single servings at Wal-Mart this weekend. Wal-Mart also had their own brand. This is the first time Wal-Mart has had either. We've looked for them each week.

I stumbled upon these at my local Wal-Mart a few weeks ago.

I was looking for drink mixes in case we needed to make our hurricane water supply palatable. They were easy to spot since the shelves were pretty empty from the hurricane-supply shopping frenzy. Ordinarily, however, I think they would be easy to overlook since the boxes are fairly small (about the size of the unsweetened KoolAid packets).

Looks like a trip to Wal-Mart or Target is in order! I bet they are easy to miss, probably have looked over them a few times! These seem like a great idea since water is free and the sweetner should make it pretty decent, or so I would think. Thanks for the info guys!

Publix has them and they are 2/$6.00 this week. You get 14 packets!!

Diane:)

Just a heads up for midwesterners that our local Wal-Mart and Gordon's both carry these now. Wal-mart was $2.50 for a ten pack and Gordon's was $7.45 for a 30 pack. I went ahead and grabbed some for our Spring Break trip. It's never too early to start packing!

Cajunmommy,
Which BR Walmart did you get these? These are a great idea! Two of my kids have diabetes, and most often their only dine-in option is Diet Coke.

I'm so glad to see this thread! I had checked Walmart a month or so ago after seeing the packets at the hospital. I'll check again! Thanks!

gardendame (and all you other Red Stick residents) -

I'll have to go back & check my receipts. I stopped at the Siegen Ln. Wal-Mart that day (what a ZOO!) However, based on what I remember from the placement of the packages (far right side of the shelf, up against the end-cap), I'm beginning to wonder if I found these in Gonzales. I'll PM you when I find out for certain.

Another option for those that like to mix something into the water, but don't want aspartame or splenda is to get the cans of sweetened Kool Aid and just put a little bit into baggies so you don't have to bring the entire can to the park.

My timing today was perfect...I went to the local Walmart and asked if they had ever heard of the packets as there were none on the shelves. One of the clerks said some had just come in this morning and went and got them for me out of the storeroom. Box of 10 for $2.42 (they had the lemonade and raspberry but no peach tea yet).

Eureka! Went to a Wal-Mart near my work today on lunch but they didnt have any although they were in the middle of a reset of that particular modular section so they might very soon.

After getting home we rode to the local Wal-Mart (not a SuperCenter) and found our packets! Even had the wal-mart brand too so it was $1.76 per box instead of $2.50 for the name brand stuff! Apparently this is new to wally world so if your local one doesn't have it right now I would keep checking as it appears to have a place designated for it in the future on shelves.

We got the lemonade and raspberry flavored ones, the peach ice tea didnt appeal to us. These should save us quite a bit of money on drinks provided they taste decent!

I saw them today at Krogers. They were selling them at the airport by the single package as well. We used our Brita bottles and were very pleased, it totally took out the funny taste.
