Single riders Tower of Terror

I was told in June of 2006 that there are no more single rider lines for any attractions with the exception of Everest because it is new. I found that to be the case with every attraction during my stay as I would always ask the CM's. However this was the same trip where I was also given a very hard time when I asked for a parent swap card for most of the attractions.

tell the CM who moves you through to the library that you are a single. then be attentive to the elevators in your line as they fill them up...if you see spots open, just politely shout out that you are a single and could go. Our kids have done this many times with no problems. Be courteous :thumbsup2

Well, whoever told you that was wrong, to be honest. For example, Test Track has a single rider line set up, and it's been there for a long time. In fact, I used it last month.

Rock & Roller Coaster is under refurb and one of the things they're doing is installing a single rider line.

There are probably a couple others that I'm forgetting about.

But Tower of Terror could definitely use one.

Where and why? I mean, where would you put a single riders line at ToT, and why do you all think it needs one?

The where? Just a matter of logistics. They'd figure it out.

The why? Because it would make the lines move faster. Instead of during almost every ride there being some empty seats because they can't find parties comprised of odd numbers, they fill the gaps with single riders, enabling more people who want to ride to get on the ride more quickly without compromising the regular stand-by line. In my opinion, the single-rider lines are miracle workers on Everest and Test Track.
