My daughter will be a single rider in EE this time but doesn't want anyone sitting with her. Is this possible? I'm guessing it depends on how busy the ride is but thought I'd ask the pro's
I am often the odd one of my family and I always have someone ride with me. How I've always seen it work is the single riders are held until an odd group comes through then they waive the next single rider to join them.
Entering the SR line gives you the perk of riding faster, and you ride faster because you ride with someone.
She will probably be fine. I know my big kids are often riding with a younger kid and they cut up with them, make faces for camera with them and one ride my DD got off and said to her single rider little guy "you're the coolest kid ever."
I've been in the single rider line a countless amount of times and I'm pretty sure that I've always had to sit next to someone else. She shouldn't be be worried I've been doing it since I was 12 and I've never felt uncomfortable or not safe
I have been a single rider that got seated next to a child who was not really expecting or wanting to sit next to another person. The ride is so short though truthfully once it got going I don't think it mattered to the child that a stranger was sitting next to him. Plus I am pretty cool so I am sure that helped (she said sarcastically).
We're a family of 3, and DD is a daddy's girl, so I always ride alone with a stranger next to me on busy rides, either a single rider, or another stray from an odd numbered group.

My DD is the same when it comes to Disney because I'm 'more fun than mommy on rides'...I make sure we swap from time to time so that DW gets some ride time with DD as well. When I get seated next to a child I try to make it fun for them because I'm sure I'd have been nervous when I was younger myself.
