Experience shows that Soarin SR saves little to no time over the standby line.

No Space Mtn SR.

RSR varies for many reasons including the ride still goes down a lot. Tends to be 10-30 minutes for SR.

Over 4th of july weekend, SR for Screamin' and for Matterhorn was under 5 mins. We didn't use the others.

Most of the time, I wait about 5 - 10 minutes or less for RSR, The Matterhorn, and Splash Mountain (can get long in the afternoon). I never use SR for Soarin, I always just grab a fast pass (the return time is usually about an hour away.)

We just discovered how wonderful single rider lines can be. Knew about them before but didn't have the inclination to use them since my older daughter only just became comfortable riding solo.

We used SR for Screamin' and Splash. I would say Splash was about a 20 min wait on a hot day. Screamin' was probably about the same or less.

Good to know. Since the only way we'll be able to do them is as a single rider and then parent swap while trying to keep DS entertained elsewhere. California Screamin' won't be so bad at least as he can watch for Mom or Dad and then wave and watch us shoot out as it starts and then try to watch us -so at least some entertainment.

How is it for Indiana Jones. I have to ride that alone one night while my daughter is in Pinocchio play house since it's just me and her going.

Indy works pretty well as SR. It still takes at least 15 minutes because you still have to walk thru the entire tunnel to the ride and watch the safety movie.

That sounds about right. Matterhorn SR is usually that short, and Screamin' SR is sometimes that short, even in peak season, unless a big group figures out that those SR lines exist.

Fyi there was no single rider for Indy this week due to crowds was the reason I was given. Could of sworn they did have it for space mountain?
RSR single rider was much shorter like 20 minutes vs 120 for stand by. FP was running out by 11:30 so might be only option to shorten wait. No breakdowns on the three days we were there.

Space doesn't have a single-rider line on either coast. I've been there when CMs have stopped the single-rider line at Indy (during last year's October CHOC Walk weekend.) It was only for an evening and not the whole weekend, though. That must have been some crowded park. Although I've never understood the practice. Ride vehicles will always eventually need single riders no matter how long the standby line is.

Generally, when they stop taking SR in line, it is because they have too many at the time.

I do not believe this was covered yet previously.

My kids and I did SR for goofys sky school right after using our fast passes. It was a 5 to 10 minute wait for us, while the standby line was 35 min. Its great while waiting for your screamin fast pass to open up since its a fairly short walk between the 2 rides

Yes, last week was super crowded. The first three hours were fine but by 11 everything had at least a 30 minute and more often an hour wait even pirates, hm. We got fp for indy when we left at noon that were for 7:30 at night. The cms even were talking about how crowded CA was on Thurs. On Fri the FP were gone for WoC when we walked by at 12:30, not sure when they actually ran out. Seems they really needed a second show last week. Soooooo many people looking for a spot, lined up near LM for 2 hours before because they didnt have fp.

Where does the single rider line start for splash? I've never seen the entrance for it and I've always wondered?

It's by the exit of Splash. ..where you can get a ride photo.

I did SRL for Indy in March and I did not have to walk the entire tunnel or watch the safety movie. I entered through the exit and took an elevator which opened up right where they were loading. I was on the ride in 5min.

Be advised, sometimes CM will say "no single riders right now" or will overestimate the wait times. For Indy they said no single riders, but I insisted and the CM gave me a pass. This didn't work for GRR, the CM just scowled at me and said come back in 10min. For Splash they said 30min wait, but it was a very hot day and standby was 60min. I only ended up waiting 20min.

Another tip: if the queue for RSR SRL is past the bridge then you will have at least a 30min wait.
