Okay, we're almost ready to go. Bags are (sort of)packed, lists have been made and checked (mostly), and my brain is brimming over with so many tips and tidbits about WDW that I'm pretty sure it's going to burst soon! :hyper:

Now I just read the other post asking about SINGLE RIDER line at EE.

What?!?!? I missed something??!?!?!?

How do the single rider lines work? How do we know which rides have them?

TiA!!!!! :wave2:

I think the only attraction with single rider lines are EE and Test Track.

(edited to delete Mission: Space from the list thanks to posters below).

You will not have to wait as long as the standby line, but you WILL have to ride without your friends and family. They will break you up and send you off in different ride vehicles.

Hope that helps!

If you are willing to be separated, Single Rider is the way to go! It's SO much quicker than even FastPass. BUT....you WILL be separated. Yes, it does occasionally happen that you'll be on the same ride (ie: the same train on EE, but not in the same car), but don't count on it. More likely you'll be on different rides, going one after another (possibly with a few 'rides' in between; so one person may be done riding with the others are still waiting to board).

Usually you're really close to your family though. It's a great idea when the line is shorter and you don't mind riding alone. I think Soarin' has one every so often if I remember correctly. That could be wrong.

And how can I tell if the ride has a single rider line at the time that I am there? Will there be a temporary sign posted or something? Where do I look for it?

I have a feeling that there will be quite a few of the faster rides that not all my boys will want to ride...yet they are all tall enough. So, we can't take advantage of Child Swap (or whatever it's called).

The single rider line could work out well for my husband and myself to go on the ride one at a time.

Thanks!!!

The single rider line will always be at the attractions I posted above.

To respectfully correct phisigprincess' post: Soarin' does NOT have a single rider line.

It does in California and it did at the very beginning here in FL as well. Not anymore.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe there is no more single riders line at Mission:Space since they changed to the green and orange experiences. The green (tamer) one is now using the single riders line. I could be wrong but in the words of Bill Murray "that's what I heard".

disnut8 is right -- Mission:Space has lost its single rider line. Not a great loss - out of the three times I used it, once it took longer than the standby line!

So apparently the only two remaining single-rider lines are Test Track and Expedition Everest. The situation at EE is a little fuzzy (to me at least) as you have to enter through the fastpass entrance to get to the single rider line; not sure how that works. As someone mentioned elsewhere it seems to be an afterthought, not originally planned for. So it may be a temporary fixture.

The single rider line at Test Track is the real thing, and great if getting a fastpass doesn't work for whatever reason. While generally slower than the FP line, it is significantly faster than the standby line.

BUT... as they announce, you WILL be separated from other people in the singles line. It's not often easy to get CMs to be rude to guests, but one good way is to go through the singles line and then ask to be seated with/near your friend/family member. They will tell you sternly to take the seat offered or exit the attraction.
