Can I still get a child swap pass if the first parent goes through the single rider line?
TIA!

We were specifically told no, since you are supposed to be single on the single rider line, while child swap is for groups.

If you don't have a FP, some of the single rider lines would still be quicker than doing standby with child swap.

No. I would try single rider on TT and Everest and child swap on RnR as that seems to be the quickest.
Interesting. I didn't even think about this. We will be utilizing child Swap in June. I do have a 5 year old who will probably ride TT (though maybe only once) and definitely won't ride EE.

TT single rider passes the design studio so rider swap if that is important.

Her child is only 5, so too young for single rider line anyways.
Right. But I guess I was thinking if he went with my DH, he may not want to go again with me, so I'd consider the single rider line instead of using the Swap pass.

This was my experience as well!

There are only 3 single rider lines anyway and imho its often not worth it on RnRc, can be a time saver at TT and usually much quicker at Everest. At test track if you want to design a car just go through the gift stop toward the exit and there is a design studio there. Design a vehicle, tap your vehicle onto your MB and then you can use that vehicle when you ride single :)

You're ride experience was complete opposite of mine. Single rider on RnRc was basically walk on for me, straight into the sound booth room, then usually the second or third train. I waited in single rider on TT for 35 minutes, before giving up, no where near the front of the line when standby was only posted at 45. My wife had a similar experience on a different trip but gave up after not clearing the lobby in 15 minutes.

Never tried it on Everest as we were always able to get FPs.

If your child is tall enough to ride and just doesn't want to, there's a very good chance you won't be given a rider swap pass. Just a heads up not to be surprised if they tell you no. (Unless you also have a too-short child in your party.)

Thanks for the info. I have another child who is 3 and is too short.
