Hi, I am a newbie to this site. Unsure of exactly where to post this question. I had made reservations for a WDW trip August 22 through Sept. 4, 2011 quite some time ago. However, recently separated from my husband, but don't want to cancel the trip. Wondering if it is common, or even realistic, to meet another single mom to travel with to share fun and expenses? I have only one child, an 8yo girl. I have been to WDW twice before. My reservations are for the first 7 days at Pop Century, the last 6 at POFQ. But, they could be changed slightly, as there are great deals going on now. This arrangement could be only for part, or the whole trip. Would like to communicate as much as possible beforehand to make sure of compatibility. I am a pretty laid-back traveler. I'm really excited and can't wait to step foot in the magic again! Please let me know any thoughts or interests. Thank you.

Hi Sarah...

I for one think this is a great idea! I am not a single mother but have a 3 year old niece and lots of little kids cousins. I love to spend time with them, and do things with them!

I am planning my wedding for 10.11.12 in WDW and I have plans to go down to WDW in late August to chat with the photography department there. I would love to be considered to spend some of your vacation and share costs with you. I would have a couple of meeting to go to for the wedding. But I would be happy to have a chilled out Disney vaca. I have been there once before on my own, and my favorite part was meeting new people on line and in the busses. I too am a fairly laid back vacationer. But I can run with the best of them if need be!

Look forward to talking with you if you are interested.

Check out my PJ via the link bellow. That should start to give you a good idea of my nature.
