My children are into roller coasters and we are only buying one day ticket for our trip but I would love to see the processional. Has anyone bought a single processional package and eaten alone?

Are you talking about the Candlelight Processional? I travel to Disney solo all the time, I like to eat table service meals periodically and it really is not a problem. I have done the Candlelight Processional dinner by myself, I like either LeCellier or the Coral Reef if I can not get LeCellier.
If you are going early in the season and on a week day I would suggest just lining up for the CLP and doing it without the dinner or lunch. I've had pretty good luck with doing this, especially when I am by myself. I decide which show I want to go to and I line up between 45 minutes to an hour prior.
