Single Digits- VWL Questions!

Our countdown clock below is wrong...we have expanded our already lengthy trip, and will be arriving on Tuesday, May 4th for a 15 night stay!!!

I had a couple of questions about VWL, where we are spending part of our vacation using some points. These are probably no brainers...

Firstly, Is there a free laundry at VWL for the studio accomodations? If so, would someone share with me the location?

Also, is Sturdy Branches Health Club free to members?

There is a free laundry but I'm not sure of the location because I've always stayed in a 2BR. I'm sure someone here will be able to tell you though.

The health club is free to members and IMHO it is the best of any that I've tried at DVC resorts. Just sure them your room card that says member on it the first time you go there.

I've never used the laundry at VWL, but it seems like I remember someone saying it was around the corner from the elevators on the first floor. Hope I'm right!

Yep, the shared laundry room is on the first floor. It is "behind" the elevators, in the corridor that is on the end of the building closest to WL.

The health club is free to members and IMHO it is the best of any that I've tried at DVC resorts.

I agree, it is really a nice health club. Try it out, you will enjoy it

Something to be aware of if you have kids: No one under 14 is allowed in the club, and kids ages 14-17 must have an adult with them. I saw three teenage boys turned away, and the CM at the desk said they're usually pretty strict. I don't remember this being the case at the other DVC resort health clubs, but I have to admit that I don't usually stick my head in those doors on vacation. ;-)
