We're down into single digits. Nothing packed...but excitement level is high!

Completely packed. Waiting until tonight to pack the van. Leaving at 4:30 AM.

Trying not to feel guilty......leaving the kids at home with the grandparents for a romantic week at DW!!!

Six more days!!!!!! I have stuff pulled out all over the house to be packed! My husbands just shakes his head and sighs. My dd's keep digging through all the stuff, so guess I better get busy and get everything zipped up in the suitcases!

I still have NO CLUE what to pack...I am no where near ready to go except for the fact that I cannot wait another day . I will be on the plane in 5 days . I am actually dreading the next 5 days simply because of anticipation...AHHAHA....what to pack what to pack>?>>

I am leaving in 14 hours........for an 11 hour drive

I have been washing clothes all day.

I am ready. I don't think I will get much sleep tonight. My oldest DD is trying to make me feel guilty. She isn't speaking to me because she isn't going. Oh well, I guess she has a week to get over it!

I feel you! We live about 15-20 min outside of B'ham and it's about a 8-9 hour drive for us....usually depending on Valdosta-area construction and traffic.

We are at 5 days....and nothing is packed. That's because it's still a secret for my 7 year old.

Hopelea's not here to see this..... but I laughed when she said her daughter wasn't speaking to her because Hopelea was going without her. My oldest DD didn't speak to us for 24 hours this week because she was upset that we booked this trip, kept it a surprise and that she was going to miss "Spirit Day" on Wednesday before Thanksgiving - which is all of 3 hours long. Plzzzzzzzzzz. I think the school does this on purpose so the kids won't miss school.

Anyway she made such a stink that we decided to buy her a ticket home. But she has to live with her decision and we're not flying her back. She'll miss 4 days at Disney for 3 hours at school. I hope it's worth it. She'll live with and spend Thanksgiving with my cousin (my relatives will not be sympathetic - they all want to be with us) and will not have use of her car. If you are an adult and you make these kinds of decisions, then you have to live with the consequences. Don't flame me for being a meanie. But what's worse than a sulking teen? A sulking teen at Disney. We believe that she will miss us more than we will miss her! We'll see.

Got to start packing under the cover or darkness pretty soon or it won't get done.

Completely understand this one. A sulking teenager is exactly why my oldest step-daughter is not coming with us. We asked, pleaded, and came awfully close to begging her to come and spend Thanksgiving with us in Disney. After a while my DH & I realized we were only setting ourselves up for problems. She is almost 17, if she doesn't want to come to Disney for Thanksgiving, that is fine...she can stay home. We'll send her a postcard!

My younger step-daughter is coming and she can't wait! We'll enjoy this time with her, before she turns 17...and doesn't want to vacation with dad anymore.

AND.......we leave on SATURDAY!!!! 6 more day!!!!

Joining the single digit dance!!! My ticker is set for the day we check in to All-Star Sports, BUT we arrive at Disney on Saturday, and we are staying at the Hilton in DTD, so we can "officially" start our Disney trip bright and early!!! Can't wait! I don't want to think about anything else this week!!! Last night I made T-shirts for us and some window clings!!! Love the DISboards!! Everyone has given me such great ideas!!!
