What is wrong with me? We just did our first trip in March and became instant D.O. (Disney Obsessed!) and now we are headed back down. We did it commando last time and although we were tired we saw everything we wanted to. I have 4 day park and 4 plus's for us to use and frankly, I don't have anything set in stone. I do have 2 PS's and an Illuminations cruise booked but other then that zip, zero, nada.
I was thinking about making up touring plan cards and in the AM checking the weather and deciding which park (DD CBM doesn't have EE) but I haven't DONE it yet.
So here's my ? or dilemma depending on how you look at it.....should we wing in knowing what we really want to do again or should I commando plan the days, yet go w/ the flow?

I say head directly to the EMERGENCY room and check yourself in...You must be sick!:p

We did commando on our first trip and not on our second trip...Both had it's rewards.

This trip is a combination. With 2 weeks at WDW we will do a lot of PS's that wil dictate the parks we go to and then some friends are coming to meet us for 4 days and they have specific they want to do so we will accomodate them because it's at the tail end of our trip and plan to have ALL THE MUST SEE's for us out of the way by then. That way we are not disappointed.

We also have 2 MVMCP's and one candlelight Processional dinner package planned so that also dictate...

The rest is WING IT!

Have fun....Just avoid early entry parks since you are not able to take part and have a blast:cool:

Take a deep breath, you'll be fine. You are going at a fairly slow time for the parks, you'll get a lot done without an itemized plan. My family told me that our second trip to WDW was their favorite, because it wasn't as planned out, and we didn't eat in as many sit-down restaurants. Diana

No need to go commando, but a little planning isn't a bad thing.

Check out the list of Early Entry days at www.wdwig.com and plan to avoid the Early Entry park each morning. Check the show times at www.disneyworld.com so that you don't miss any nighttime shows. Also, make a brief list of the "absolutely can't-miss" rides and shows and anything new you want to do.

Beyond getting hotel reservations, purchasing tickets and making a couple of PS's, that's about the extent of my planning. I have a plan on which park we'll (probably) start at each day and I know which shows are only offered once during our stay. I also have a list of the shows and rides that my toddler son and I (will be 12 weeks pregnant) will most enjoy. Beyond that, we'll wing it.

Never could understand going commando -- I figure this won't be my first or last trip to WDW so if I miss a ride or show, it won't be the end of the world. But I do enough planning so that we don't end up waiting in a two-hour line for a ride/show that's boring or scary. (In fact, I won't wait in any two-hour lines with a two year-old.)

Don't feel too bad. I'm in single digits as well, and I have yet to decide where to stay and what tickets to get. I've been holding out hope that room only resort dicounts would come out, but I gave up hope for that a couple weeks ago. My finger crossing prayers for an email or postcard rate did not get answered. Courtyard Marriott in DD has good rates through DU, but I keep hoping for a really good rate at All Stars. I wonder if anyone ever got a good rate from CRO last minute...or by asking if they'll match a competitor's rate.

Oh well. Fortunately I have visited often enough that I gave up the commando routine a year or so ago. We'll just go with the flow and have a great time.
