We leave for Florida on the 18th. But, I have been horribly busy, and the next 5 days are pretty much toast, including a 3 day camping trip with our Girl Scouts (why, oh why did I think that weekend would be perfect?!?), and 4 doctors appointments over 2 days in a town almost 90 minutes away.

I am a planner. I always have the smallest details of everything planned for everything I do, because otherwise, I feel like I am lost. So... Yeah, feeling horribly lost.

I still need my girls to sort through their laundry and pull out a few things. This is the first trip it have gone on to WDW that has been MY vacation- my planning, me paying for it, etc. Since it took 9 months of savings, I think I over dosed on planning and just let it get too close without getting any of the packing settled.

I am so ready to just be back 'home', though. We are going to Homosassa for 2 days first to stay with my FIL. We have never seen the gulf, so we are excited for that.

Then 9 days at WDW. Omg. I am going to forget so much.

Does anyone have a link to a GOOD packing list? I have seen some that were just crazy insane long. My kids are 11 and 17- no kids toys, baby stuff, etc needed. Not driving, so no kitchen sink to drag along.

We are taking 4 suitcases- flying southwest, so it's free. We probably only need 3 at most, but I would rather have the extra space.

I had planned to make some fun glittery Mickey head cut outs to attach to ribbon and hang in the windows. No idea when I will be doing that.

Chaos. Serious amounts of chaos.

I'm in the exact same boat!! I leave on the 18th too but we are moving this weekend!!! I feel your pain...I have nothing together for this trip and normally I'm completely organized. Ugh!!!! Good luck to you!!!

Chill!!

Anything you forget and need can be purchased. You aren't visiting a remote side of the mountain, you're visiting a retail paradise.

I'm sorry to say I don't have any packing lists that don't include things like drawer organizers and the like. I think if you pack clothes, toiletries and money you'll be fine.

It might even be liberating for next time when you're tempted to pack extra night lights and a tea cozy.

Ah! Welcome to my boat. We leave in 53 hours and I'm freaking out.

I'm an over-planner/master packer haha and I've done didley-squat.
It just doesn't feel real yet. Guess I need to hustle.

Today we have the circus and tomorrow is packed too. It's insanity. Plus my little guy seems to have picked up a cold and is cutting molars so if he's not in my lap he's in tears, poor baby. :-(

Your kids are old enough to at least get their own things out and together. I would just have a quick family meeting and tell them what needs to be done and let them pull their own stuff together. I use to be a mega planner until the year I was so busy I was taking clothes out of the dryer and packing as we were leaving for the airport! Now everyone has to get themselves ready!

I only pack for myself - much easier!

We leave in 12 days, and I have craft show that I'm selling my homemade wreaths in that's on The 19th. We leave the 21st. Why in H*!! I thought that would be a good idea is beyond me!!! The chance to make extra spending money, perhaps??

I still need to make luggage tags (tonight), unearth the luggage from the basement, and pack. I have spent most of today on those darned wreaths. Still waiting on a custom headband to arrive for my daughter's Ariel outfit and hopefully this weekend I can grab those last minute things from the store.

Man, 12 days is closing in fast!

Just wanted to join in on the 18th bonanza!!! We have been planning forever and I know I've forgotten to do something! We'll all live and just pay$20 for the forgotten sunscreen lol:confused3

Thanks everyone!

I just feel like no matter what, I'll forget stuff. I am sitting tonight to organize some lists of our meal reservations, park hours, flight info, etc- anything to print and tuck away to bring for reference.

I think for meals, I'm going to set calender reminders to post 2 hours before hand with the reservation number.

Clothing, shoes, pins, mouse ears (I bought minnie mouse ears at Party City, and blinged them out with gems on the ears for the girls- different, but still cute, and only $5.99), and toiletries.

I really do keep over thinking it all. This is the first time I got to do the planning, though, which is either helping or hurting the whole thing. With everything going on, I feel like I don't have time to breath.
