Single Digit Dance

Only nine days to go! Our son, wife and grandchildren fly out of Pittsburgh next Thursday for three nights at CS. We drive from Hershey next Friday, arriving Saturday for one night at POFQ. Then we meet "the kids" at BCV (our home resort) for 6 nights in a couple of studios. They fly home to Pittsburgh on Saturday, and we move to VWL for six more nights, our first stay at that resort. I'm sure we'll love it. Asking a favor of you. Wish us better weather than we've had the past couple of Junes. "02 was extremely rainy (not showers, but hours and hours), and June '03 was very rainy as well. Oh well, a rainy day at Disney is still better than a beautiful day elsewhere!

Forgot to ask a question (too busy dancing). If we elect to have Disney move our stuff from BCV to VWL, how long might that generally take? I guess we'll want to take swimsuits and some other things with us. We have a car, and could move ourselves, but we tend to overpack, and it's a lot to move.

Another single digit dancer here! The only bummer is that I've come down with a fairly nasty head cold over the past few days that I have done my best to fight off and it won! But cold or no cold, I'm going to Disneyworld on Sunday morning!!!!

Regarding the luggage transfer, the only time we've done it (pre-DVC) our luggage was available to be brought to our room after we checked in to the new resort. So I would definitely bring any essential stuff in a separate day bag.

As of today, we're doing the single digit dance too! Actually, we're leaving a day early...so only 8+ days. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!

Guess I better get that laundry done so I can pack! DD leaves for camp Sunday and returns Friday night...just in time for us to wash her clothes and leave again Saturday morning for Disney!

We are also doing the single digit dance! We actually depart about 12 hours sooner than our countdown below. Our flight on ATA was cancelled and we now leave earlier in the day. In fact, we should be checking into the BCV about 11:00 next Saturday. So, since we can't get our room unitl 4 and we don't want to waste a day, we might just hit Epcot, MGM or the pool. Groovy dudes, dance on!!!!!!!! :thewave:

We aren't quite there yet. 13 Days till we go home to OKW.

Four days to go. Any more BCV reprts? It's my home resort, and I've stayed there 2 times without problems. Should I be concerned?

BY THE WAY, FELLOW DISERS, THIS MORNING JUNE 7TH, I GOT A WISHES CRUISE FOR JUNE 25TH..LEAVING WL AT 9:15PM FOR THE 10PM FIREWORKS
