Ah yes, our English equivalent of Africa :rotfl:

Disneyholic, I'm not fantastically organise so not sure I can give you any extra info than the obvious! But here's my packing list (from what I can remember - visualising our luggage!)

Hand Luggage:
Folder with flight tickets, theme park tickets, passports, coupons and reservations, dollars along with our day-by-day schedule
Zip-lock (see-through) bag with make-up (for use through airport security)
Entertainment materials (books, DS etc.)
Headphones (since I don't like the freebie ones; hurt my ears after a while)
Sweets (mainly for landing - sometimes gives me an awful migraine, so chewing something really helps)
Sunglasses (since it'll be bright on arrival)

Main Luggage:
Clothes (underwear, mix of casual tops, shorts and skirts with a couple of dresses for evenings, plus bikini)
Footwear (flip flops, prettier sandals for evenings, going to wear trainers on the flight)
Suncream and aftersun
Shampoo, toothpaste, conditioner, make-up remover all in a ziplock bag (incase anything spills)
Toothbrushes, soap, other non-liquid toiletries in a drawstring shower bag
Folder with copies of hand luggage documents
Water fan (for queues in theme parks)
Cap and hat
Beach towels
Jewellery (in a separate compartment)
Hair brush & bands
Mobile phone (for our return - just incase emergency at the airport)
Extra entertainment for return trip
Space padded out with plastic bags (to save room for buying things over there, padding it out stops the other bits in the case from flying around).

I always wear over there a short-sleeved top with a light zipped jacket over the top; that way I can wear the jacket on the plane (since they tend to be quite cold) but on arrival I can take it off (since it'll be very hot!)

Remember with hand luggage, you're also allowed to bring a handbag so pick a decent size one to fit any overspill in. You are also allowed to carry on a book/DS in your hand if they still aren't happy with luggage weight.

Should you need paracetamol etc. on the flight, if it's Virgin I know they can provide that. Otherwise you may want to bring some of your own.

May have missed things, but hope that's of some help! :rotfl:

Yay for you too nobodies!! :cheer2:

great list!!!!

i forgot my sunglasses - have to get them out of the car..

you put your jewelry in your checked luggage? i carry it in my hand luggage....also my phone is in my hand luggage...i'm afraid of losing it in the main bag...

i just bought a new big handbag last week....it's fantastic..holds tons...i bought it with the trip in mind, but it's great for home too!!

i'm also taking a little backpack to use in the parks so that i don't ruin my new handbag...

Yeah, I carry my jewellery in my checked just because of the scanners etc. causing a hassle. I don't take my best jewellery with me anyway, just me cheaper bits, since I'd worry about losing them in the theme parks etc :goodvibes:

Yeah we're taking the backpack into the parks along with the waistbag. I don't like taking my handbag into the parks, plus easier to haul everything around in a backpack. We're taking the waistbag so we can take photos of queues that require you to use lockers :goodvibes:

We fly Friday! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: just DBF to pack his case, give the fish their foodblocks, and take our Twiglet (guinea pig) round to my brothers to look after!
Although got room painting and carpet washing to do tonight and tomorrow night (since we'll be selling the house when we get back..exciting :rotfl:

I don't know about you Claire but my weekend took its sweet time going by lol!
I am hoping that being at work will make the days fly by and go quicker but it's not working thus far.
I still need to sort out what we are taking but I usually do that the night before so nothing much to do but wait lol.

Aww sorry nemmie hehe, mine went quite quick I guess because we were quite busy. Also a busy week at work planned, and with painting etc. in the evenings, hoping it will carry on at this speed!!
Unfortunately I have the dentist Thursday evening before our trip, how lovely is that :rotfl:

LOL well I am glad to hear the time is going fast for one of us at least.
Yeah I def don't envy that dentist visit :confused3 Ahhh well at least you can just lie back close your eyes and think of your wonderful holiday in ONE day from then! :cool1:

Off tomorrow!! Weeeeee!!

Although for some reason still doesn't feel real?? Don't think it will until we land!
