I'm doing the single digit dance for my 1st WDW trip ever!!! 
Bought SSR in 2008 sight unseen, then VGC in 2009. Our initial trip to WDW in Feb 2009 was cancelled do to back surgery. In the mean time we've enjoyed many wonderful non DVC villa vacations (DCL, Concierge-Del Coronado, Squaw Creek, GCH, DLH) and then our first stay at VGC last May and now our first trip to WDW in 9 days!
Can't wait to be able to say 'been there, done that' about WDW. Funny thing is that I was giving a friend lots of WDW tips and even referred them to book their trip the same week through Dreams Unlimited, but I've never been! My 2nd hand expertise is all thanks to the DIS.
Have a great week of Nov 8th! I know we will!!! We'll be at the TOTWL that Monday night watching the MVMCP Fireworks!
