Single Day Tickets

I am not sure exactly where to post this question so I thought I would start here. If this is not the correct place I hope someone can tell me where to post.

I am going to Disney in February with my DM to watch my DD march with her marching band in the park. We are going to be needing just two single day tickets as we will only be going to the park for two days. Can anyone please tell me the best place to purchase the single day tickets. Do you have to purchase them at the gate or is there somewhere else that we might be able to get them in advance?

Please help, it is getting close and I am starting to stress over not having enough planning done!!

We purchased our single-day tickets at Disney.com. It used to be cheaper to pre-order vs. purchasing the tickets at the gate.....I'm not 100% sure that is still the case, but it's something to check.

I marched at Epcot in 1987 with a dance team, and it was great! We also performed in MK. I hope your DD has a wonderful time.

Thank you so much for the quick response. My DD is actually marching with the color guard with the marching band. It is really a dream come true for her. I will certainly try Disney.com and see what I can do.

If there is ever a chance you will return to WDW, it is cheaper per day to buy the non-expiring passes. We bought 10 day passes through Ticketmania and have used them for 3 trips. It turns out that it costs only a few dollars to add the 8th, 9th and 10th days to park tickets.

If you are spending only one day this time, the ten day non-expiring makes sense only if it will fully cover two more complete trips.

Caution: The eighth non-expiring day is extremely expensive. The tenth non-expiring day costs about two dollars.
