Single as of yesterday...(vent...kind of)

so yeah me and zach broke up yesterday...it was just over a year and it's just sad....i mean i kind of like this other kid so i guess it's ok.

But the thing is i just needed to talk to him about something that I was unhappy with, I didn't even want to break up but by the end of the talk we were screaming at each other and freaking out and then he just gave up and was like "No, you know what this relationship is just too much for me, I'm done!" and left me standing there. i feel like we could have worked it out, if we just calmed down...

I dated someone for two years and broke up after about a year (then got back together shortly after for another year). Relationships are hard! I wish we had stayed broken after the first time because now I see that I deserved so much better. I was just devastated at the time though and would have done anything to get him back.

If you need to talk I'm here. I've been through it all (at least it feels that way!!)

If you don't want to be with him it's better to be single, even if it feels weird. It really is true that it's better to be unhappy alone than to be unhappy with someone else.

i'm fine now but now i'm trying to figure out what to do because he's going around telling lies about me, like that i dumped him completely out of the blue when he's really the one that ended it. and saying that my reasons for even talking to him were irrelevent. UGH! i mean i get that he's hurting or whatever...but he shouldn't be lying about me to all our friends
