He's playing at the F&W Festival on 9/28 & 9/29 and I've never heard of him...I Googled his name and all the searches list him as a Scotish/British folk singer...anyone ever hear of him or his music????

Year of The Cat and Time Passages were two of his biggest hits. I always liked him.

yep, I think those were his only two hits:confused3 . I'm not a fan at all:sad2: I find his music a little too sappy for my taste:confused3

That's what I was afraid of...as one of the Google sites stated he never achieved his goal of becoming the British Bob Dylan...yech.

Well hopefully Off Kilter will be playing and I can see them instead.

Well, to each his own. I always thought Bob Dylan was the voice of a generation?...:confused3

Anyway Al's music was always poetic but I don't think 'sappy' is the word I would use but hey I was in High School then, I listened to Black Sabbath too (yikes...Talk about crap).
