Since parks close early 10/31-11/4 should we stay at Boardwalk instead of Poly?

Just looking at the park hours for when we are there 10/31-11/4 and MK closes early (6:00 & 8:00 on Sat) MGM closes 7:00, Epcot 9:00 THEN WHAT DO YOU DO? We are staying at Poly but think we should move to Boardwalk area? Does the Boardwalk this time of year have any action still going on til later in evening? Although statying at the Poly will be nice since we are going to the MNSSHP at the MK. hmmmm  thanks!

Unfortuantely there is no right answer. We stayed at the Poly. oin August and were so excited to be on the monorail, but honestly it wasn't that great. We like tp park hop a lot so we still had to take the busses. We thought the AKL had better transportation. I know we are probably among the very few who say that, but we don't care how long it takes to get somewhere as long as it has a/c, we're in Disney, and we're on our way. As far as the Boardwalk area, it is my favorite. I would say there is a lot more to offer than at the Poly. and we loved taking the boats or just walking to Epcot and MGM. It just seems like there were more things to do including a nightlife on the boardwalk. Good Luck. I am sure either way you will have a great vacation.

Either would be great. If you have kids the Poly would be better because of proximity to MK for easy jaunts back to the room for mid-day breaks... BW better if no kids and you love to party (Drink you way around the world... awesome), Poly better if you have no kids but want romantic... very nice!
Have fun.
