Maybe I should start a more agressive approach and yell at the next Disney rep I get on the phone?? Maybe cursing them will work as well?? I probably won't do either of these, but I'm getting really tired of being passed up seeing as how I am a regular guest and all. I haven't gotten a code since Oct. 2004, and I'm not going to take it any longer!!! Who's with me???
 
Well, at least you got 1...I have been going to Disney almost every year since 1994 and have yet to get a pin code.

But I won't be stressing about it any longer since I decided to buy into DVC. Have been going back and forth about it for the past year or so and just decided to take the plunge!

Sorry, not with you. I'm happy for all the people getting codes. I'm not one of them, but I won't stop going to my happy place because of it.
 
I guess I'll take the customer service side on this one. The CM's aren't the ones issuing the codes...it's the marketing department. Call and rant to them, but leave the poor CMs alone...unless you get a snarky one :teeth:.

BTW - I'm codeless too and it is frustrating. Just keep looking and maybe something will come up that is better than any code you will see.:thumbsup2
 

I am frustrated but not with you on ripping a Cm.It is not them that issue or choose who gets codes. I have had 21 trips to the world ,with 2 more trips this year and have yet to receive a code either.
 
Yeah... im behind you all the way...been going to disney for last 12 years and not a sniff.....lets revolt....we be revolting!!!!!! I throw a proverbial cream pie in disneys face.

I've never gotten a pin. I think the best way to get Disney's attention is to STOP GOING. Our next trip to Florida will be to Universal. If Disney wants us to stay again, they'll need to send some kind of deal my way. I'm tired of being the only full paying guest at Disney!!:rotfl:
 
The only people who get pin codes are those that don't go often. I think there is some specific timeframe that you have to not visit Disney to get a pin code. Its their way of enticing you to come back after you've been away for so long. If they look up my account and see that I've gone atleast once a year for the past 10 years, how do they benefit by giving me a discount when they know Im coming regardless? Would it be a nice gesture since Im a "regular customer"? Sure! But it doesn't make much financial sense. I'd also add that its all done by computers most likely, so its not like someone is specifically going through everyones account and deciding who does and doesn't get pin codes. The computer is probably set to look for addresses that have not visited in over a year or two years or whatever time frame they want. I think it seems like many people get pin codes because alot of people get the basic promotions emailed to them ( like the free $200 gift card, etc. ) and they post about it, thinking they are getting something special, when in reality they are just getting what everyone else is.
 
Not to stir the pot (please don't flame me) but we go every year and for the past few years have gotten several pin codes every year, so there is no rhyme or reason to it. I truly wish I could pass them along to you guys when we can't use them.:guilty:
 
Really? Im surprised. It seems that most people on here that I talk to who get pin codes say that they haven't been to Disney in awhile.
 
No my SIL goes 2x per year every year and is a DVC owner and gets pincodes all the time.
 
We go almost every year or at the least every 18months and there for awhile were getting several a year. It def. a hit or miss thing.
 
We have been going to WDW since 1992 and have stayed on property over 40 times. We have never received a pin code. Maybe we're going too often to get a code. I'm always on the lookout for AP or general public discounts.
 
I have never gotten a pin. We do not get to go frequently, but the last two trips have been in my name. I am on several mailing lists with them, having ordered planning DVDs and DVC info. I subscribe to Disney newsletters. I enter Disney sweepstakes. I've done everything to get on their radar. And nothing. I'm at a loss as to what I have to do to get a pin. :::shrug::: With my luck, I'd get one when I couldn't use it, I guess.
 
I tried everything for the past few years to get a pin code...nothing. We just got back last week...and last night I was floored...my first pin code lmao:rotfl2: I had to laugh because it was an email address I didn't use to book my trip...and it stated " XXXX Family We're so excited to hear you're thinking about taking another Walt Disney World® Resort vacation" :rotfl2: I still need to unpack one more piece of luggage lol.

Again ... no rhyme or reason ...who knows maybe there is times they target people who do come often...or they looked at how much my kids spent on soveniors lol ... maybe it was because our last name begins with a "N" :rotfl2: whatever the case may be...you can still get one...it's probably when you least expect it and like me can't use it lol.

Wishing everyone gets the PIN code they are looking for or something comparable!:goodvibes
 
In over 10 years of visiting WDW we've never gotten a pin code, but lo and behold yesterday there was a flyer with a pin code in my mailbox!!

But, it wasn't for me! It was for a neighbor on another street with the same house number as mine. What a letdown.
