Sims 2 - So Bummed!!

I think the purpose is just to control others lives. Great for controlling people since the Sims actually listen to your commands (for the most part)

Anyone know why they didn't just make it for Playstation 2? I love my Sims for playstation, but have awful issues with the versions I have for my PC. It just takes up too much room and requires too much techno geek stuff

I had this problem: my dvd drive was a 4x drive and the game calls for an 8x drive. I just run it from my DVD burner, which is a 16x and it plays ok.

For those of you with the intergrated video, almost all (if not all) intergrated video can be "overridden" with a new card. If you have a CompUSA in your area, they will even do the installation for you for free if you buy the card there.

All you need is a vacant slot inside the computer, and most full-size desktops have some "space" for a new card, unless you've already added some stuff.
