Simpson's Area still open?

Hi All,

My son is headed to Universal next week and while we see that the Simpson's ride will be closed for refurbishment, is the rest of the area still open? He is a huge Simpson's fan and might just skip the park if he can't see any of the Springfield area. Thanks a bunch!

It's already back up and running. It was a short refurb.

We rode it Saturday (2/11) and it made me sicker than a dog. I have some vertigo problems but with my Bonine I rode everything else fine. I decided it was the dome that the screen was projected on instead of a flat surface that threw me off. That and the fact that all of the cars on the right side of the ride went down right before we got on probably didn't help.

It opened sometime in the afternoon on Jan 31st. When I entered the park that morning there was still a sign up saying The Simpsons ride was closed but my family was able to ride it shortly before the park closed for the day.

I have that problem too, and Bonine helped 100%!

The word "Homer" appears in my name, so I'mma scan my driver's license, enlarge it, pixelate out the confidential parts, then show it to Homer Simpson. With any luck there will be great actor inside the costume and will really do something special when he sees that my name is also Homer.

And oddly enough, I used to live in Springfield, but I don't any more.

My dad's name was Homer so I bought him the name tag at the Simpsons area
