I am leaving my job next week, and while the head boss already knows that I will be leaving for another position (and fully supports my decision) I feel like I should still give her a letter of resignation out of curtousy. I have written a simple letter, do you think that it will suffice? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I have enjoyed working for you this past year! It has been a wonderful experience that I will remember for years to come. It is with regret that I must resign from my position. I have accepted a fulltime teaching position in ------ teaching Pre-School Special Education. My last day with -------- will be on Friday August 7th.
Once again, thank you for employing me this past year.
Thank you.
