Does anyone know if there is anything at DLR that would compare to Starring Rolls Cafe in Hollywood Studios. We have always made it a tradition for everyone to go in and pick out a fabulous pastry/dessert for a snack once during our trip to WDW. I am trying keep the tradition alive for our DLR trip in June!:)

I don't know, but I hope someone else can help. I love the cupcakes at Starring Rolls, (drooling over the red velvet just thinking about it!) and I'd hate to miss out on something just as yummy at DL!

Well, I've never been to the place in WDW. But in DL there are definitely places to get wonderful cupcakes and other bakery items. Blue Ribbon, Pooh Corner, and the new Jolly Holiday Bakery come to mind.

I think Blue Ribbon is shut down now. Where is Pooh Corner? I didn't see them listed on Allears. I hope they have something in CA. We always know what our snack will be for Magic Kingdom so I am sure we will do the same for DL - today is dole whip day or today is funnel cake day. My kids always enjoy going to Hollywood Studios and going into Starring Rolls and just staring at that case. They know they can pick whatever they want, and it is just neat to see their eyes get bigger and bigger as they take all the goodies in. We usually then find a nice spot to sit and watch the parade while we enjoy our treats! If they don't have a bakery over there, we will just do it at DL with Jolly Holiday Bakery. We love Hollywood Studios so I am hoping California Adventure has the same "feel!"

the closest thing in DL you will get to Starring Rolls is going to be the Jolly Holiday Bakery and at DCA, the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe:goodvibes

I agree that the closest thing to Starring Rolls is going to be Jolly Holiday Bakery. That's the main bakery in DLR (think kind of like the Main Street Bakery in MK). In terms of sweets, you'll find lots of places with yummies throughout the park.

Seasonal Cupcake at Jolly Holiday (chocolate and berry, very big, reminded me the most of the cupcakes at Starring Rolls):

Thanks for the pics! I think we will definitely be making a trip to Jolly Holiday!!!!

The Jolly Holiday is great for food. It does remind me of Starring Rolls, but Jolly Holiday has a fun Mary Poppins theme and it isn't has small and crowded as Starring Rolls.

Pooh Corner is basically a candy shop in the back of the park, by Splash Mountain in Disneyland. They also have baked goods like cookies. I haven't been to Starring Rolls and it doesn't sound like a match, but if you have a sweet tooth, it's absolutely worth a visit.

This is where you can find Tigger Tails. Oh. Yes.

Marcelines in Downtown Disney is great for this too. They have a huge plate glass window out front where you can watch them decorate the goodies.

Oh, my girls would love that! We can't wait for this trip. Although, I'm starting to mourn WDW;)

This will be a whole new adventure, though!
