Has anyone used this service? Our DS was only 3 last time we visited but now he is 4 and I thought I could enjoy a nice evening out with DH.

Can you tell me how much it costs and the hours of operation? It didn't have any specific info on the AKL Disney webpage.

We used it in 2006 when our son was 5. It was about $10 an hour and they fed them. He had a good time, but boy were we shocked when we went to pick him up at about 11:45 and he was still up! He was having too much fun to sleep!

This time we are using the Neverland Club for our date night.

Thanks for the link -- that was exactly what I needed.

I know that my son will be up. It seems whenever we take him to any program away from home, he stays up.

We're planning our date night the last night at the hotel. That way he can sleep in and if he is grumpy then we can just go home!!

Good luck with the Neverland Club.

Both of my kids (9 & 4.5) went to Simba's last week. They were given a choice of dinners (standard kid stuff - burger, hot dog, mac & cheese, pizza, chicken nuggets). Later in the evening, they had snacks (cookies & juice). There was a big screen TV tuned to the Disney channel, and some large play areas with games, legos, and the like. The Camp CMs ran some activities during the evening, but nothing too involved (simple crafts and games). There were only about 6 kids there in total that night, so maybe things were more low-key than usual. The kids had a great time, though, and didn't want to leave when we came get them at 9:30. My DD did Neverland club 4 years ago. Simba's was a newer room, but Neverland seemed like more of a party, and Simba's more like a supervised play room. Maybe that's because she was only 5 last time. In any case, it's a great way for parents to get a break (if a bit expensive for more than one kid).

Just an FYI, the cost is now $11 per hour. I had to finalize a reservation for my daughter for Simba's Cubhouse and the Neverland Club and they advised me of this.

This is my DD's first time staying at Simba's but she's a regular at the Neverland Club. The Peter Pan theme is incredible and the kids go through Wendy's window to enter the club. She's gone there so many times the CMs remember her every visit. She *never* wants to leave! LOL!
