Simba's Cubhouse discount when dining at AKL

I just got off the phone for booking Simba's. My husband and I are eating at Sanaa while our 4 kids go here. The awesome CM was as surprised as I was - she said she had never seen this before and thinks it is very new. According to her prompts, the first hour is free if you show a receipt from a AKL TS restaurant. There was no restriction on number of kids, just that they have to be from the same family. And also, she said there was a new pricing guide - 3 or more kids is $35/hr. And it doesn't say that discounts can't be combined. So she also put me in for my DVC discount.
Maybe I'm late to the party on this one, but just wanted to put this out there in case it helps anyone else dining at AKL and debating the cost of Simba's.

Pulled this from the website - I can't remember the last time I looked, maybe a couple of months ago? But this wasn't there at that time.

Hourly Rates

• 1 child – $15 per hour with a 2-hour minimum
• 2 children – $25 per hour (normally $30)
• 3 or more children – $35 per hour (normally $45)

Note: children must be siblings for discounts to apply.

Additional Discounts

• Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Guests dining at Boma, Jiko or Sanaa restaurants will receive the first hour of childcare free with valid receipt.
• Starlight Safari Tour Guests will receive the first hour of childcare free with valid receipt.
• Wanyama Safari Tour Guests will be charged a flat fee of $35 for the length of the tour with valid receipt.

Wow, I had no idea they did a free hour while you ate there. Awesome to know for future trips or if doing the safari. My daughter did Simba's on our last trip. She'd previously done the one at the Poly and while it was bigger, she seemed to enjoy the activities at Simba's better. They brought in some drummers and did lots of African inspired crafts

Disney discontinued the Childrens Activity Centers earlier this year, so nothing at AKL anymore. They are doing a pilot run of something they are calling Pixar Play Zone, which is only at the contemporary. Price is a fixed price now. You can find more info here.
