Simba's Club - question

My son went to Simba's in I think it was 2002 or 2003, can't remember. He was 5 I believe at the time.

He REALLY liked it. I'm not sure that older kids would rave about it as much, as most of the children in there, toys, furniture, activities, etc. seemed geared toward the younger ages.

The ladies working played with him, gave him lots of food he liked, got him interested in various board games with other kids, etc.

Simba's has a window out onto the main Arusha savannah, too, which I think is way cool!

My two kids went to Simba's Cubhouse (not clubhouse) once during a new years eve trip. They were 5 and 7 at the time. The 7 year old mostly played video games (my son) and didn't think much of it. My daughter LOVED it - it was perfect for her age. It was a bit expensive - $60 total for 3 hours of babysitting. I wouldn't do it again to be honest (well, now my kids are way too old). But if you really need dinner alone and have little kids, it's an option. They played, were fed dinner, and my daughter had a great time. We had dinner at Jiko - but were on the concierge level so had appetizers up there beforehand, and I was actually full before we went down to dinner! I wouldn't leave the resort with my kids there, but that's me, as they were young.

We dropped our 6 year old GS off and had dinner at Boma last November. He loved it. Lot's to do and very secure. There was only about 6 other kids there, so it wasn't too crazy (during Jersey Week).

My neice request to go to Simba's instead of Jiko on our last trip. She loved it. She made new "best friends", ever new friend is a best friend to her, and loved some time away from us on her own. She loved Alice's tea party for the same reason. I think Simba's cost us $30.00 plus I tiped the caregivers an additional $5.00. She brought home some coloring pictures and said they played in the house area and watched a movie. She also had dinner. I chose her menu, with her help of course, when I dropped her off
